Thoroughly Enjoyed!!!
These trilogies must be read in order and always were meant to be readv in order. Each book begins with a short fairy tale written eon's ago ago about a very beautiful infant Queen born on the Island of Glass. Apparently this Island appears only randomly and to a preordained group of people and then silently slips back into the ocean again. At the birth of this new Queen 3 Goddesses gift the infant Queen 3 heaven!y beautiful stars to sit right below the fullness of the moon along with these stars comes wishes granted on certain gifts or certain apptitudes like wisdom, prenaturally longevity of life, gracefulness, natural beauty, and the loyalty and love of the people in her kingdom. The 4th sister of these goddesses was a spiteful, jealous, an immortal with Not even a thin veneer of sympathy or empathy. She was even jealous that she had not come up with these ideas first. She was tru!y evil and each year her eyes truly showed that her madness was growing!! So she put a curse on these gifts from her sister goddesses....that they had a "shelf life"and would eventually plunge out of the sky forever lost. However, the 3 Goddesses were quick to foresee a group of 6 that would be direct ancestors of there own bloodlines and if they stayed pure of heart, mind and quest that they could thwart the evil goddess and once again return the stars to their heavenly home and defeat the goddess. In Book 1 we had the love story of Bran and Sasha and retrieving one of the fallen stars. Book 2 was the love story of Sawyer and Annika and another star recovery. Without trying to spoil Book 3 for you, we have a love story taking shape between Doyle and Riley (the most difficult, argumentative and strong willed duo but who I thoroughly enjoyed BECAUSE of their many flaws! Another seeking of the final last star. I am not a fan of Ms. Roberts mystery/murder/Police-Detective work. I have my own favorite author's in that genre but it's not why I seek out Nora Roberts books. This trilogy is what I love about Ms. Roberts books and she is so good at it. One other thing that I loved about this trilogy...I did not have to WAIT WAIT AIR for each books release date. I'm not sure how this trilogy got past me but am so thankful that it did. What a plus for me to able to buy all 3 books at same time and had the thrill of just reading all 3 books and since it wasn't in my Kindle Unlimited. I was forced (silly me! I'm glad I own these books and can re-read these books whenever the desire hits me! Yay!!!)Talk about hitting the jackpot in the magical supernatural world of "Noraland"......psychic/empath/daywalker/visionary/famous artist; Healer/very powerful sorcerer/studly Irishman (yum); werewolf/archeologist; cursed immortal man originally from Ireland/almost 300 years old but another Irishman (again...yum!); Timewalker (from both past and present); Mermaid who has been aware of Sawyer for years (!)/who was selected and chosen/trained extensively for this job/gorgeous/pure innocence/who is on a ticking count down before having to give up her land-legs/who must give up the extravagant luxury of falling asleep by Sawyer and waking to him in the morning/who must give up on a pleasure she is just found out how natural she is at it. Not to mention the joy of cooking beside the man she loves and has mated with for life/plus she is a natural when it comes to friendships. This team of 6 has gone from a team first relationship. Has fast moved into a life long bond of real friendship. Without missing a beat they have now become family....the type of family that is usually cemented in childhood by blood but by oath and shedding blood in battle to keep each other's back!! Mix in 3 very good Goddesses, 1 Evil Goddess who is spiraling quickly into madness, demi-demon (made by the Evil Goddess). Evil minions to fight for and under command of EVIL Goddess. Battles/lovemaking/training together/living together then add in gorgeous countryside's/beautiful homes/architecture. Magic. Beautiful clothes. Can I say magic again, grimmores, books , and again supernatural beings. This book has all the aspects of why I read Nora Roberts. If the book is just right (and it was!) then my ONLY disappointment is that I've finished it and have nothing of comparative value in my Kindle library that will take the place of these books. Bummer! Hope you enjoy as much as I did*****!!!!!

It isn’t my first read through of this series and surely won’t be my last! Great story with epic adventure and little love sprinkled in.

Simply Breathtaking!
There are't enough stars in the world to give this book. Nora Roberts has always been my favourite author, but until this trilogy (aside from Twilight) I've never read fantasy novels. I bought the first two on a whim in the summer and have been counting down the days until the release of this book. It really did not disappoint! There can be a tendency in stories to rush over certain parts, but this book built steadily. The beginning was full of the interactions between the characters that make you care about the story and the dramatic scenes were epic, literally edge of your seat, heart in your mouth stuff. I also like that the ending wasn't rushed, and was well rounded, there's nothing worse than a book that leaves you wondering what happens next. I don't want to say too much more because any spoilers for this story would be criminal. This would make one truly epic movie, but in all honesty nobody would be able to do the story justice. You NEED to read this series!
