The package arrived ahead of its promised date (holiday season, too!) and was undamaged in a vacuum packed Ziploc inside a vinyl shipping envelope with other items.The skirt is a great length and for a woman with curves (translation: giant derrière), the placement of the pockets is genuinely uplifting and flattering as hell. It goes great with boots or pumps and can be dressed up or down as needed. The quality of the denim and stitching is top notch; suggested sizing by Amazon was accurate. It earns a second glance and compliments every time I've worn it so far. This is a great purchase and I'm glad I got it!

This is an edited version of my earlier post as I have since worn the skirt. The fabric is of very good quality with lovely stretch. It is heavy and not suitable for hot weather. It fits well at the waist but was very fitted on the hips and backside. Not surprising since my waist is small relative to my hips so the skirt goes in under my backside and shapes me out more than I wished. I mentioned this for those who have a waist more than 10 inches smaller than their hip measurement. I will wear a bit longer top to compensate. I didn’t expect that in a skirt described as A-line. Despite this I am quite pleased with the skirt! It washes and irons well. I did not dry it in the dryer, it was hung to dry. There was no shrinkage and minimal leeching of color. I used a spray on fabric sizing during ironing and the skirt kept its shape and looks like new. I am between 5’5” and 5’6” it comes to the floor with 1 inch heels. I may shorten it an inch or so but I don’t really have to. I think the length would be fine on higher heels. I find the skirt heavy when walking. There were a few imperfections in the fabric on the pockets. Looked like small scratched areas. This is today’s fashion and common with denim. Overall I really like the skirt.

Bought this for concerts and work. Amazon recommended Medium. It did fit but I felt it was a bit too big and re-ordered in small. Much better fit. I am 5'7" and it hit right at ankle. Wore the skirt to a concert with moccasins and was very comfortable. This is not a thin denim material. This will work for me with leggings or thigh high socks from late summer to spring. I washed and then line dried.

Skirt looks beautiful but it’s very long and it’s stretch denim so you need to buy a size down. I bought a medium and it’s too big. I like my denim to fit as during the day denim normally softens so I will need to get it altered. The dye runs badly so you need to wash separately

It had been years since I'd worn a jean skirt; but I don't recall having worn one as comfortable and great fitting as this one! The slight elasticity in the fabric made it easily conform to my specific body-type without being tight or confining. Yet, it's weighty and sturdy enough to hold it shape! I dressed it up with bedazzked low-heeled mules and over-stated sparkley jewelry and got tons of compliments on the look! Runs true to size. I sized up for a slightly more loose fit; but it you prefer a bodycon look your regular size should work; and the elasticity will add a little "wiggle room." Definitely recommend this item. Holds up well in the wash. I never use a dryer on jean items; so I can't address how it holds up in the dryer.

This skirt is very cute and very comfortable and very flattering. I ordered the black which is a faded black denim. I am 5’4” and wear a size 10. I ordered a large because my measurements are right at the tail end of a medium and it fits very nicely. It is kinda stretchy and I most likely could have pulled off a medium but the large is fine. My only complaint is that I am short so this goes all of the way down to the floor on me. Just a tad bit too long but I will probably wear it the most with my platform boots so it won’t be a big deal. Worst case, I will hem it up a couple of inches although I doubt it will come to that. It does have a couple of scratch marks (which I saw in some of the reviews before I bought this) but I don’t see a problem with them. It kind of goes with the whole semi faded denim look. I am very happy with my purchase and might even end up getting another in another color. It is so cute!!

Made in China & has a strong chemical smell. I only buy "machine washable" clothes if Made in China because of the smell. I purchased the light blue washed out denim, the navy, and the black skirts. I love long skirts but not these. The washed out light blue denim stunk like an extremely strong chemical, stunk my porch, put package in 2 plastic bags still stunk, & returned it. All 3 skirts were delivered about a week apart, not in 1 shipping but 3 shipments. The dark blue & the black skirt smelled some (could not bring in my house) so I kept them outside on my patio for several days & some of the chemical smell went away. I then washed the navy & black skirt, rinsed it twice, then washed them a second time, 2 rinse cycles & the chemical seemed to go away. After putting them through the dryer, they still smelled so I washed them a 3rd time & soaked them in the washing machine all day with some white vinegar. I will wear the skirts & after more washings they should be OK. The skirts are not flattering because the fabric stretches & makes the stomach look rolly polly or big then tapers in where the body doesn't stretch the fabric thus making it tighter & very hard to walk (have to take baby steps). Plus, the fabric is really thick so the skirts are very heavy & weighs a lot. I do not recommend the light blue due to the horrible smell or chemicals they used bleaching the denim out. I used "free & clear of perfumes & dye" detergent to make sure the smell was gone but did not work completely. I kept the dark blue & black skirt but not happy with the fit or heavy weight fabric. I am a very good sewer / seamstress so I'm going to re-do these skirts so they will work better for me. I do not recommend.

The reviews I read were all over the place so I took a chance on the size, looking at the hip measurement because I thought I could always have the waist altered. So, I hope my specifics help someone else because weight means nothing without body shape being taken into account: I'm 5'6", apple body shape. I weigh 135lbs. My waist is, oh, 32" (no thanks to are menopause) my hips 38", I have no rear-end to speak of and the Medium fits like a dream. It's gorgeous and I bought it specifically for my 3 pair of cowboy boots. The skirt is flattering, it really is.It's "kind"/forgiving for every shape, lots of flex/stretch, and decent weight denim. Go for it.I hope my review helps. Hopefully I can add to this by uploading a photo later.
