Tempur-Pedic Adapt ProLo Pillow, Queen

My neck was hurting from my one year old custom height pillow from another manufacturer as it wasn’t high enough and wouldn’t cradle my head. After going through various brands of different memory foam pillows over the last 10 years, I finally bought this Cloud ProHi as my first Tempurpedic pillow ever, which I knew is supposed to be the holy grail of memory foam pillows.I loved it from the first night but wanted to use it longer before writing a review. It’s been a month and I still love it. It does have a foam smell right out of the packaging, it takes some getting used to in terms of how much it conforms to your head (and how long it takes to spring back), and I can definitely see the complaints of it being very hot.I use a silk pillow case and it helps the pillow stay cool a little longer, or cool down a little faster. I find that I fall asleep so quickly using this pillow though that I don’t even really notice it getting hot.When it was delivered, it was pretty cold outside and the pillow was rock hard. Once it came to room temperature it was medium softness as advertised. I didn’t find there was much of a “break-in” period, maybe just a night or two? I can’t believe people actually find this pillow too firm/hard! There are much firmer memory foam pillows I have tried which have no give whatsoever. Maybe those people need to find a different pillow material? Once my head has settled in this pillow, it’s maybe only a couple inches off the mattress and cradles my neck perfectly. Firm pillows would barely budge.My only complaint is that because the pillow takes more time to “spring back”, when I change positions, it takes time to adjust to my new head position. So when I switch which side I’m sleeping on, the back of my head is resting on the very edge of the indent left by my head before switching—something that could be rectified by getting the King pillow but not annoying enough for me to justify buying a larger pillow.I am a strictly side sleeper and I have not had a better pillow. There are mornings when I wake up and I noticed I havent moved or changed which side I’m sleeping on at all throughout the night. This pillow was worth every penny, I just hope it lasts longer than my last pillow!

Really good quality pillow, just not for me.Pillows preferences are really personal so I'll try to keep the review as objective as possible.Pros:-Good quality memory foam. You can tell right away is not cheap quality and it molds nicely to the weight of your head-it maintains a good temperature over nightCons:-As you can see in the pic is a bit smaller than a regular King size pillow- I found it a bit tall for stomach sleeping but comfortable for back sleeping.Overall is a good quality pillow but I will be returning it because it did not work out for me as I rotate between positions but sleep mostly on my stomach. I will try low-profile instead next time.

I spent over 6 hours looking at pillow reviews. I ended up buying one of those custom pillows before this. The ones where you can add and remove fluff to make your own comfort level. It still wasn't what I was looking for.This pillow is firm yet comfortable. It feels like a high quality pillow every time I put my head on it.I'm a side sleeper. I still require one more pillow but I love the feel of this pillow. Even 6 months after buying it I can't wait to feel it every night.

I’m a back and side sleeper, so this pillow allows me to move around with no discomfort. I’ve been sleeping like a dream.I read a ton of reviews and suggestions before finally selecting the mid pillow. Highly recommend!

I was going to buy the matress but thought I would try the pillow first. Glad I did, i have $50. pillows that are better than this. Returned to seller.
