Good chips
I wanted to try curing and smoking Canadian bacon. I don't have a smoker, but I do have a nice grill, so I bought a smoker box and these chips. After curing a pork loin for about two weeks, I poured these chips into the smoker box and put it on the grill. Following the instructions on the bag, I put the box over a burner on high for about 20 minutes and got some nice smoke out of them. I adjusted the heat on my grill down to 325 and smoked the cured loin until it was 145 in the center. It took maybe two hours, and I was surprised that these chips smoked for me the whole time. The bacon was delicious - salty, smokey, perfect. I'll continue to buy these chips if I keep at it.This is the smoker box I used: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07RKYMBCN/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_VJ04SNE15VH1TP50BHZP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Perfect Smoke
My dad loves this brand of wood chips for his Masterbuilt. He goes through the hickory and apple the fastest, by far!

Versatile Wood Chips
I like to use these when making a roast chicken in my gas grill. Gas, of course, offers no smoke flavor like wood or charcoal. While convenient, it is nice to have that taste sometimes.I either wrap them in an aluminum envelope or use a smoking box.I'll soak them in water or red wine. If I'm making burgers, I will soak only 10-15 minutes.I like to keep bag unopened in case I'm heading out to a park. While these are hickory, I keep a full selection, depending on what's cooking. Cherry, apple, mesquite, peach are my other go-to choices.I'm a fan.Anthony Trendl

Far too expensive
These are small bags. I use an electric smoker, fed by wood chips. One bag of these is good for perhaps 3-4 hours. Smoking a pork shoulder takes about 12 hours at 150F. Gets to where the cost of the chips is more than the cost of the product you are smoking. This is a good product but way too costly.
