Wow, the compass is great, love the locking mechanism for when not in use. The little leather holder it comes in is quite nice and thick - good quality; someone said the stain comes off, I did not have that problem. The words on the back are perfect - both easy to read and a touching message. Glad I found the one that said "love mom and dad". This is the perfect gift for someone graduating!!!

Cool product, but my son choose a different compass so we returned

This little brass beauty rolled in less than two days after ordering, and upon opening it up to check that everything was in order, its vintage-style charm and sundial completely won me over. This met every expectation I had. Its smaller size makes it easy to carry in a pocket or the palm of your hand, and it's charmingly detailed with instructions on the back and inside the cap. The pieces move easily and are crafted very well. This little compass is absolutely charming and a great addition to anyone's day!

Perfect gift for my son. He loves it

I was very excited to receive this in the mail, but to my surprise it was faulty and broken. It seemed like high quality from the picture. I do not blame the company for this, as it could have had an issue during shipping. I purchased 2. One was Fine, the other not so much. It would have been an easy 5-Star had I gotten it in one piece!

really cute, seems accurate obviously when the sun is out. writing on it very small but informative. would be cool to collect these little sundials.
