Chihuly 2015 Weekly Planner Calendar – Engagement Calendar, August 12, 2014

I love Chihuly's work and have been to several of his exhibits and to his Seattle Garden and Glass. Each picture identifies the name of the work, the size, and where it was installed and/or photographed.As for the organization of the weekly calendar, there is a photograph for each week and a photo for each month. Each weekly page has a small calendar for last, this, and next months. Holidays are listed, but full moons are not. In the back are 2015 and 2016 calendars. The last page has a pocket on both sides of the paper (where I keep my password information hidden). The calendar has a labeled spine, so I can keep it on a shelf at year's end. Paper quality is good.I bought one for myself and one for a friend, who was in Seattle with me. We ooohed and aaahed over every photograph and feature..

I chose this calendar because the one I'd been using for over a decade was no longer offered. I like the format: spiral with weekly calendar on one side & a beautiful photo of Chihuly's work on the other. I also wanted the current, prior & next month full calendar at a glance, which appears on each weekly page, thought they are rather small & hard to see, even with glasses on. There's a little room to write notes in the top & bottom margins & each day has plenty of space. The paper is semi-matte & prevents ink smears, unlike the other version I used for so long. One nice feature is the full page monthly calendar that appears before the first week of the new month.

Just perfect!! I have two big books by Chihuly and a 2016 wall calendar. This weekly engagement calendar, besides being beautiful and showing artwork by a very admired and generous artist, is in just the right format, no extra pages wasted. Glad I have pre- ordered both the wall and engagement calendars for next year. This calendar is for my husband. He and I both really like Chihuly. We've been buying his calendar each year (I don'tremember how many years. Each time we attend the opera in Seattle, we look at that "thing" hanging from the ceilingin the lobby and think (with sorrow and regret), "we could have had a Chihuly!"

I visited a Chihuly exhibit in Phoenix last year, so I was excited to have a calendar featuring some of his works. The calendar has lots of great photos and appears sturdy. I'm pleased.

The calendar journal was beautifullyphotographed and was better than anything I found locally. I record my daly runs and have since 1977 so I like a calendar that ends on Sunday. This calendar was priced right and fully satisfied my needs.

Weekly calendar book with plenty of space to make notes and each month is preceded by a smaller full-month calendar with space for notes, too. The photos of Chihuly's work are amazing.

A beautiful picture of Chihuly's amazing creations on every week's opposite pages. All year I can see, each week, the results of the expression of this man's creativity. A feel good experience.
