Street size 9=6.5
I made sure to read the other reviews thoroughly before purchasing, and I'm glad I did! As many state, the difference in numerical size from street shoe to ballet shoe is very different. I wear a 9 medium in flat shoes. My feet are a medium width, maybe a little on the wider side of medium. I wanted something to fit snug, so I purchased a 6.5 narrow. They fit very well. The first two wears were a little tight, but they have since molded to my foot and are very comfortable. The only thing I don't like, is that the elastic strap is too tight for me. I have a higher arch, so the strap digs in more than is comfortable. I have been wearing it tucked under my foot. After tightening the drawstring, they stay on, so I'm not sure if I will replace the elastic or not.The leather is a good quality, soft and smooth, well stitched.I bought these so I could exercise on the wood floor in bedroom without slipping in socks or feeling like I was too rough on my bare feet. These can slide when I need to, but don't slip out under me. They're also durable enough for more vigorous exercise moves.I also love the way they look on. Just wearing them makes my ballet workout tapes feel totally different!Overall, pretty, comfy, and well made for a good price!

Great product, Excellent customer service
I’ve never worn ballet slippers before and wanted a pair to wear for local dance group. I bought a size 4 regular, it was too small. Returned and bought 4 wide. Still too small. Returned and bought 4.5 wide. Fits perfect. Easy exchange, no hassle, no questions, no problems. These are soft and pliable, nice quality, some adjustment available with front ties. Very good quality slippers for the cost. I was very pleased at the ease of exchange and opportunities to try until I was able to find my correct size. I wear size 6 shoe, and the 4.5 wide slipper fits perfectly. Great customer service. Great product. I would recommend these dance slippers!!’

Great Shoe probably should order a whole size larger!
What I like about this show is that I can wear it with the strap across my foot or not. Normally I wear a 7.5 so I order a size 8 thinking it would be okay because previous shoes like this one are in a size 8 and they are fine. But this one runs a little small. I should have ordered a 8.5 instead. The quality and appearance is good. The comfort of the shoe is okay I just should went up a whole size rather than a half size.

Size down!!
Despite the provided measurements, I had to size Way down. My street shoe size is a 6.5 and after four tries, I finally got the right fit with these ballet slippers at a 4.5. Beware, however, dance shoes can vary drastically from style and brand. Other than the measurement/sizing challenge, these seem to be of great quality. They are comfortable and the elastic drawstring helps for an even better fit.

Love this shoe. Fits large and wide.
I wear US women size 6 or EU 36 in 90% of street shoes. Always medium width. I got my first pair of these shoes in a size 4C (medium). They fit snugly when I first tried them on, but after 4 months of adult beginner ballet (twice a week), they started to feel very loose. I can still wear them, but they would sometimes bug me during center. Also, I had to pull the elastic so tight, that they would dig into my heels without socks on.I just sized down to a size 3.5B (narrow), and they fit much better. Mind you, I do not have narrow feet, so these fit very wide. I’m wondering if I should size down to a 3B just in case they become too loose after some wear, but as the size 3.5B is on sale right now for $8, I will keep them and reassess after a few months. In comparison, I wear sizes 3.5C in the Bloch Performa, 5.5B in the Bloch Synchrony (tho this shoe just doesn’t fit right for me), and 7 medium in the Capezio Juliet.Aside from the sizing, I’m a big fan of these, and their are my leather full sole shoes of choice. I have also tried the Capezio Daisy, but these shoes mold much better to my feet.TL;DR: Amazing shoes. Size down 2.5 sizes from your street shoes (for women) and consider narrow sizes even if you have medium-width feet.

Not white
First off the quality of the leather is there, however if you need a true white they are not white. They are more of a soft putty color. They are definitely larger than anticipated. All in all, if you can get the right size and don't need a true white, they are a good quality.

Great ballet slippers
I decided to get a pair of ballet slippers because I wanted to do some basic ballet moves for exercise around the house on rainy days. I haven't worn ballet slippers since I took ballet when I was young (1980's). They fit true to size and once they are tied they fit great. They are comfy enough to wear around the house as well. Great product for adults that are in ballet classes or doing ballet/barre exercise programs.

Be sure to check size chart before ordering!
During the pandemic I got a pair of Capezio Daisy shoes in size 8.5 to use for Zumba online classes which I was doing on the laminate floor of my kitchen. Since the in-person classes have started up again at my local gym with a wood floor, I continued to wear the Capezio shoes there. After 3 years I felt it was time to get a new pair of shoes and decided to try these. My street shoes are size 8.5 (ladies') and I ordered 2 sizes down to 6.5 as the chart and other commenters said. They are still a bit big and I think a size 6 would have been better. The elastic is already stitched on but it feels too tight for me. I may need to cut the elastic and use the Bloch covert elastic instead which I find more comfortable. Quality of the materials used seems better than my Capezios. I plan to keep these but get a size 6 next time.Edit: (a few days later) I decided to return the sz 6.5 after all and get the sz.6. They came quickly and I am changing my rating to 5 stars. They fit perfectly now. Elastic ankle strap is still tight but easily fixable.

Good fit but didn’t last
I used these as house slippers and loved them at first. They fit true to shoe size for me. I was disappointed that after 6 months the stitching came apart in one shoe. I have worn ballet shoes as slippers before and was expecting more durability considering that they only had light, indoor household use, no dancing or exercises.

These are leather Bloch
These arrived fast and are authentic Bloch ballet shoes. I read another review that said they were not so thought I would review for those dance moms who are in need!
