Visconti Mens Genuine Quality Small Italian Style Leather Coin Purse Pouch /

This is the second one I bought. I had the first one for many years. It stood up to wear and woked great; until a guy grabbed it and bent the spring steel. So I didn't think twice about buying another one.

I purchased this for my 7-year-old son, who loves it! It has one pocket and holds allowance and recycling money well. I was worried that lucky pennies might fall out, but the closure is very secure. The leather is soft, yet durable. It has already withstood several drops and a vomit incident that was not dealt with until the following day. I seriously considered just throwing it out, but it cleaned up like new with a damp cloth, and there were no stains on the leather, nor has rust formed on the metal closure.

Update... after two years of daily use looks just like day one. It's proven to be great quality. Nice changege purse. Appears good quality, but time will tell. I've had only one month. It would be nice if they offered a few more stylish designs. I thought the price point was a bit on the high side since really there is nothing to it except two pieces of plain leather sewn together. Oh yes,,, there is a horse stamped on one side which is nicer than nothing at all, but,,,perhaps a two tone leather look, or even a bit larger stamp. give it some character. But,,,, I guess it is just a coin purse. Or is it? :-)

Much better quality of materials than the cheap-o "leather" coin purse I had been using before, which had started to lose its outer layer of material after just a couple of days and which developed holes after two months' use. The leather to this one is thicker and more sturdy, and the quality of the hinged spring opening is more sturdy. Only real complaint I have about it is that, like the cheap one before, it has some sharp, pokey corners to those hinges; if you don't squeeze it just right, it wants to STAB the inside of your palm/fingers. Not pleasant. Otherwise, it looks and feels like quality, and I can drop a LOT of change in this thing without it becoming so full that it won't close. Also, unlike the cheap one, it retains its square shape better overall, which makes it sit better in your pocket (doesn't bunch up and hide at the bottom of your pocket) and also makes it easier to open and dump out your coins in your hand or to pour coins back into it.

A nice change pouch for my front pocket. This is a classic pouch. The springs for the opening were very strong and took some pressure to squeeze it open. That in a sense is a good thing, as it definitely will stay closed. It is a nice leather, and despite being a bit on the pricey side (I happen to pick one up at our local fair for $4, which was nice, but not as nice as this one.) I do like it. It was shipped fairly quickly and I received it in a very reasonable time frame.
