Q: what's the difference between Walkerswood jerk seasoning and the marinade?

The jerk seasoning is a thick paste that you rub in and is best to leave on for a day or more before cooking. Use sparingly! Gives wonderful flavor throughout. The marinade, which I haven't tried yet, is thinner and you can cook right away. My sister loves both. Guessing time and deepness of flavor are the main differences. Either way, you can't go wrong! Enjoy, Mon!

Q: how to use this marinade

Rub chicken with marinade, place in reseal-able bag (ziploc) add a bit more marinade is desired. Though the marinade is fairly strong. push any air out of the bag before sealing. Place in refrigerator and let rest for 4 or more hours (overnight). Grill or bake as desired.

Q: What is the ratio of marinade to meat? My coworker brought me some from Jamaica and I ruined it by using the whole jar for 5lbs of wings! :(

Wow, the whole bottle? 6 years later and I bet you still remember those wings. for 5 lb, 1-2 oz is good. So you had between 8x and 17x too much.

Q: How is this different than the rub?

It actually is a rub and works better when rubbed on
