As the other helpful reviewer said, these work, it looks like it’s all in getting the adjustment right, with these cable actuated brake calipers. Be patient try to get the inner pad as absolutely close as possible to the rotor, then tighten the outer pad till it almost touches the rotor. Then hop on it try to use the brakes, And readjust if necessary again. Then you should be good to go, I noticed the front caliper, kind of has these annoying washers between the caliper base and the fork mounts, It looks like the clearance is critical enough to wear those washers need to be put back in the right spot. Which was kind of annoying to put back together, but with persistence you’ll get it, don’t forget to unscrew the tiny Allen Set screw, that holds the outer pad adjuster of the caliper. I’ve had my ebike for about two years, The brakes have always been, not fantastic, always squealing. But it looks like that’s just normal. I think ideally a retrofit hydraulic would be most ideal. But again it looks like the magic is all in the careful adjustment to make these cable brakes work halfway decent. These pads are reasonably priced, and work. They are a direct replacement.
