These warm color bulbs really brighten up the space since they have sufficient lumens. Highly recommended.

LED is great but not all bulbs are the same

You need to be careful when buying LED bulbs because they are not all the same, not even close sometimes.I did a lot of reading and searching and Phillips always seemed to hit home as a solid buy, everywhere I looked. Couldn't always find them, but if you wait, the deal and the bulbs themselves would show up.I bought many from Amazon here and quite a bit at the big orange store. One thing to note is that there are MANY different versions of what you would think is the same bulb. I am not positive, but I think this has something to do with the age of the bulb and revisions in the electronic. Not positive.I bought a ton of Phillips bulbs, mainly 60w and 75w equivalent and some 40w. Then I bought recessed can bulbs, floods and a number of specialty like candelabra and small sizes. I have lost one bulb and it was one of these. No idea what happened, just didn't turn on one day.One note of things different with the bulbs is that if you want to encase the bulb lets say in a fan light and the light is enclosed in a frosty dome or something, they need to be rated to be able to be recessed/enclosed. If not, they will get hot and burn up. It will tell you on a Phillips box. After doing my whole home, my power bill has stabilized enough that I can see the difference by charting one year before and after. Same occupancy and even though we have grandchildren over now with every know light on for their safety, we are still quite a bit lower.I use a Schneider Electric called Sense, which you can find here on Amazon. I can track every single item that pulls power and the Sense device can pull resonance from down the line. I can see the difference and it is worth it.One last thing to remember: Dimmers. Some dimmers are labeled as "not for LED" essentially meaning, incandescent. The key is, the LED has a power transistor in the bottom and this needs a little kick to get this going. Best thing, use the proper dimmer. If not, turn the light up to kick it over and then dim it back down. Once the circuit is humming, you should be good. Do not dim too low if you are using these bulbs with the wrong dimmer.I would buy these bulbs again but I have plenty of spares. :)

Money saved is money earned.

Lights all worked. Every one. 40 watt is nice but I wish I would have gotten 60 watt equivalent. In our bathroom we have 8 bulbs above the mirror. They are kind of dim for what we like. I had them on for a few minutes and did not notice any heat produced. They should save money in the long run. They use very little watts which is what most people calculate when choosing led over the old style but most people don't think of the electricity saved because of less heat. Incandescent bulbs produce a lot of heat. A whole lot. Just hold your hand next to a bulb and feel the heat. That's a ton of heat going throughout your house with each bulb. The electricity saved when using LEDs is tremendous. I've done the math for my house and highly recommend anyone to change their bulbs to LED. Those bulbs were a great price and I recommend them.

Lasted about 4 years

Lasted about 4 years before becoming quite dim. A crack also appeared on the side of the bulb. Was fine until then!

Excellent LED bulbs

Moving into a new apartment made me realize I wanted to have LED bulbs in all my lamps and fixtures. These are great.

Fair price if the last a long time.

Not a bad deal if they last, but will definitely draws way less power than a regular bulb, so good for places where you leave the lights on for a long time, such as an outside security porch light. NOT dimmable. The LED design is somewhat directional. You don't get as much light from the sides as regular bulbs, but it's plenty bright when it's aimed at the ceiling (my kitchen 4-bulb fixture) or straight down (my bathroom 4-bulb mirror fixture). I've never seen both rooms so bright as my fixtures have a 60 watt per bulb limit, and these only draw some 14 watts or so each. So I'm getting 400 watts of brightness for only 56 watts.I'm building a solar power backup system so these should be easy to power from my battery bank during a blackout.

I have these just about everywhere in my house now

I have used several different types of LED bulbs in my house as the technology has progressed. Now that the price is becoming more affordable, I have replaced almost all of the older LED bulbs, along with non-LED bulbs, with these. I like a lot of light so these are definitely better than the 60W equivalent variety. They give off a good, even, bright light. No issues with noise or flicker. They have all been rock solid reliable, unlike some other well-known brands I have used which I thought were good at first until they all starting dying.

Phillips nunca falla, muy satisfecho

Completamente satisfecho con este juego de focos. Elegí el de luz cálida. Tienen el tamaño de un foro antiguo de resistencia, se calientan poco y la luz está increíble. Yo los recomiendo.

The perfect replacement for a 100 watt bulb.

Indiscernible from a regular 100 watt incandescent bulb.
