I ordered this for my 87yr old mom. She had a bone density test prior to taking it and 8 months later we wanted to see if it was helping ( she won’t take the injections the Dr wants her to take) her bone density has improved…I am stunned! I thought I was going to have to battle with her to take the injections but she called me with her results and was rather smug about the entire thing. I’m thrilled! You can look up this by doing a search on the web for 'strontium dexa scan' Dexa scans are usually read based on calcium, but because strontium is a denser mineral, the bone density results will be affected. Do your research and make an informed decision. I have decided to take the strontium supplement and hopefully build stronger bones, but I am giving up bone density scans that have accurate results. You have the choice of one or the other: you can have accurate bone density scans OR you can take strontium. You cannot have both, only one.If you decide to take strontium, here is my review of this product. This product is very good and seems to be high quality based on the manufacturer’s quality standards. This product is a good value based upon the high amount of strontium per cost. For any supplement that you take internally, you must look at the manufacturer and their quality standards of production.
