GREAT FOR USE AS POULTRY/MEAT LACING PINS: HEAVY DUTY & DO NOT BEND
I previously purchased lacing pins from another manufacturer (Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel Poultry Lacers) which were of extremely poor quality (the steel was soft and the pins bent out of shape every time). In contrast, the Royal Industries Round Skewers are thick, strong stainless steel, and do not bend when used as lacing pins. My only disappointment is that I wish Royal Industries made this product in several lengths (e.g. 8" and 12"). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great Value
I use these short skewers to pierce potatoes for baking and for testing doneness of baked goods. They are very well-made and should easily last a lifetime.

Good for jabbing
I had hoped that the skewers would be a bit slimmer, but they work just fine for poking a few lemons, then putting them in the cavity of a 4-pound chicken, and sealing the deal by stabbing a skewer through the neck skin flap into the topmost lemon. The chicken then roasts up beautifully, permeated lightly by lemon oil.

A bbq must.
These are perfect for grilling we wrap bacon around veggies and meat these hold the bacon in place. Using wooden skewers were a huge mistake we had wood in out food. Also toothpicks a no no. These were perfect and will get lots of bbq done for a long time.

These are to big for what I have intended for.
These are too thick for what I wanted to use them for

Love these!
I purchased these to use as potato nails, and they work great for that purpose. They go in easily, pull out very easy, and clean up well in the dishwasher. Very happy with my purchase.

Didn’t buy for original use
Got these to make sewing stilettos as they are just the right length- once I find beads to fit the circumference (about 2 or 2+ needed for the bead hole). In any case, they are nice and good quality.
