I've seen many reviews commenting on the size, but I think it's even MORE beautiful that so much exquisite detail went into something no bigger than a nickel! I did put it on a longer, thicker chain because the length was my preference (this way I can look at it myself), but also because the chain it came with felt thin for the weight of the charm, which is actually more of a medallion. I wanted something to wear that reflected my beliefs without being in anyone's face, prompting a topic of conversation, and the detail, THE SHEER DETAIL, in such a small piece is AMAZING! From the triple goddess symbol at the top, to the bird the maiden is holding out in her hand, the mother's arms around her pregnant belly, the crone holding her staff, I AM IN AWE!I ordered the one with the simple silver backing, but even without the addition of abalone, etc. the shining details are well-crafted!The backing of mine has a smooth, shiny silver surface, perfect for fidgeting (as my anxious hands do).I highly recommend this piece so much that this is my first Amazon review ever because I had to get online and gush about this piece!I hope you enjoy the jewelry as much as I do, blessed be!

After reading a couple reviews that said that the abalone shell is a sticker I was a little nervous that I was going to be disappointed...but, I was NOT!!! The abalone shell is real, the silver is real and stamped. The size of it is roughly the size and weight of a u.s.a nickel. For the size I was amazed at the amount of detail and I have no regrets in my decision to buy this Hecate necklace over all the other ones on the market that I had come across as I had been on the market for the PERFECT necklace for Hecate that I may adorn myself with. If you are apprehensive as I was I hope this review helps you in your decision process. Blessed be!!!

A lovely pendant. My daughter loves it. The chain, however, was too delicate for every day wear - we had to change it out with a sturdier chain.

Pay attention to the dimensions on this one. With so much intricacy it needs to be larger. There is no way anyone will know what you are wearing unless they are far too close to you. The plus side of that is you can wear your devotion and all anyone will see is a pretty little pendant. But if you want it to be seen this isn't the pendant for you. I admire the handiwork but hopefully the manufacturer will notice these review and make the actual pendant (without bail) a min of 1 inch. I would buy it again in a larger format.

I should have read the measurements. I thought this was going to be a lot bigger than it is. It's very small which is disappointing because the details are much harder to see vs the picture you see here. So, just beware of the size before you purchase.

Beautiful and perfect to represent my practices, it's elegant which is amazing, and not hot-topic themed which is not amazing. Worth it ♡
