Nice idea but it's a bit cheap and flimsy. It's good for kid more than professionals. I wish they made a better quality version of this.

It's a great compass, I especially like the design with the integrated mechanical pencil so that you want have to worry too much with specific lead refills. The only drawback I found however was the leg for the needle point. The leg is pretty loose where you can actually wiggle it so it ruins the precision when drawing angles and such for geometry class. In order to prevent it I suggest making a locking mechanism for the needle point leg so that it can stay in place when you fold it in and out.

Novel idea to have a compass and pencil in one tool. Execution is lacking, the arm that extends to provide the compass pivot point wobbles, requiring delicate pressure in order to use the compass.

I really don't understand how this isn't the standard form of a compass.

Great design. The pivot tip folds up into the compass so very portable. I love the mechanical pencil idea so there's always a sharp and consistent line width. The only issue I had was the steel pivot was not very sharp so smaller circles were a challenge. A little filing sharpened the point and it now works great.

Amazing Compass! I wish more of these types of compasses were made. The design is really nice but just needs some adjustment from time to time. Overall, a good product.
