These things are actually super nice. While modding my pro controller I wanted to make mine as satisfying as possible. I ended up doing WULFFDEN's clicky switch mod for the face buttons (pretty technical so I don't recommend doing it if you don't know how to solder.) These metal joysticks do not work with that mod. It will make the right joystick feel crunchy if you use these with the clicky switches.My other problem I have with these is that they are WAAAY too similar to Extremerate's Xbox elite controller joystick replacements. The only difference between the two is the connector at the bottom. (The pro controller joystick is on the left. Xbox elite controller on the right.)Other than these two things, this product is a must have for customization and modding. you can buy Extremerates metal joystick covers for the Xbox controller and put them on these stick caps (Yes they are interchangeable making it more confusing finding which is which if you have both)

I was nervous and thought this would be much harder than it was. Took five minutes and it made my controller a hundred times better. No stick drift… although you need to make some adjustments when putting it back together so it’s not too tight. Love it!

Excellent fit and feel. The only reason it is not a 5 star product is because I purchased this for my younger brother to replace his worn thumb sticks and he has had the magnetic stick tops fall off twice already while playing smash and the sticks are much louder then the stock ones. I got the eXtremeRate Octagonal Gated Sticks Faceplate mod At the same time to personalize his controller a bit and both fit perfectly together. I have not tested the fit without the aftermarket faceplate however.

The actual sticks are fairly loose on the stems, and the stems themselves are hard to install onto the joystick sensors. It takes a LOT of force, and one of my sticks is still rubbing on the case. It registers fine, but the stick doesn't self center currently due to the friction. And only the "middle" length sticks "feel" like they are installed right. the shorty and the long ones can't make use of the TPU inserts to help with the fit (the shorts are too short, and the longs are too long for the included inserts). the stick tops actually overall are pretty good, and the entire kit reminds me of an XBox elite, just... cheaper. Like really cheap... Magnet bond is pretty weak, and there is too much slop in the connection.EDIT: Opened the controller up again to figure out why the 1 stick is rubbing. There is a "forge" mark, or a "mold mark" in the spot where the actual joystick sensor goes into the base of this part. The #1 part for me was perfect, the #2 was something like 1/8" too shallow. Doesn't sound like much, but when the stick is just barely missing the case as designed, you go 1/8" shallow on the mating surface...Also, just as a comment, if you "flick" the joysticks a lot, and use the return rate of the springs as part of whatever strategy you use, keep in mind these will be slower, and probably overshoot the return to neutral almost every time.

First, it has a noticeable increase of friction when moving the stick. I felt like I had to push down harder than I should on the install, just to get it on enough to move without sticking. Finally, during white-knuckle gaming sessions that frequently make use of L3 and R3, the concave thumb sticks can stick to your fingers enough to come right off! Basically, it’s designed to easily swap stick attachments without requiring you to take your controller apart again, but the magnet(s) that hold the sticks on, are simply too weak.

Adjust stick height on the fly! These are great, the magnets are strong enough to keep the sticks on really well. This was one of my concerns, and rest assured they did the design for these really well. I tried to "push" them off by pushing the stick to the side or up really hard, and they would not come off, you have to intentionally pull on them to get them off. 5 stars would buy again

I originally bought these for a different Switch controller that they wouldnt work on but ultimately put them on the Pro Controller. These thumbsticks are great! They add that extra little weight to the controller and should help prevent the friction dust around the thumbsticks. If you are a gamer, you know what i mean.

He gave this product 1 Star because he said it does not fit the Nintendo Switch.... It literally isn't supposed to. It is for a Nintendo Switch Pro Wireless Controller.... The thumbsticks in just about ANY console controller is going to be 1.5x-2x LARGER than whats in a Nintendo Switch JoyCon/Nintendo Switch Lite.If he had bothered to take 5 seconds to even look at the product images or description before buying it... he'd see that in NONE of the product images does it show a Nintendo Switch...it only shows the Nintendo Pro Controller.This is a quality product (although I ordered directly from the manufactuer which is why my review is not an "Amazon Verified Purchase", they fit well and are of fantastic build quality. Don't let his 1 star review disuade you from purchasing, I promise you wont regret it.
