This is the ugliest, weird toy. My cats say, what the heck is that mom?This toy is charged via USB which is great.When I first turned it there was this noisy ugly red and black snake with glowing eyes and tongue sticking out.It's kind of like something from a low budget 50's horror movie. I said, eww.Well I didn't buy it for me but the kids. They don't exactly play with it. They stand about a foot away and watch it slink around. If no one touches the snake, after a couple of minutes it stops. Jack figured out that if you give it a nudge it starts up again. It's funny to watch them watching it.What I don't like is that as it's moving around and hits furniture or cord or anything it can't get itself out and stops. Jack will nudge it but often it doesn't back up and gets stuck. The kids and I don't like that.All in all it's an interesting (but freaky looking) toy.

So I bought this because my younger cat won't live my aunt's older cat alone. The younger of the two loves to play and sometimes a little rough (I think she likes being beat up). It provided a great distraction, but not for the cat that I thought it would. The younger of the two was actually spooked by this toy but the eldest cat was quiet curious.Some things to mention. Someone in a previous review said it was colored like a poisonous snake, it's not. It colored like a fat king snake (red touch black friend of jack. Red touch yellow kill a fellow).I definitely recommend sweeping or vacuuming before putting the toy down as the wheels pick up hair faster than a lint roller.For all of the reviews saying the battery dies super quickly: maybe they fixed it maybe they're confusing the "rest mode" for it being off but I've had mine on for 3 days only relying on the motion activation for it to be in use and it's still fine.It is a little noisy which I think deters some cats. It's not as noisy as the flopping fish toy though. So if your cats liked that toy they'll like this.My favorite part it when it launches itself backwards when you go to pick it up sometimes.Honestly for the price it's exactly what it says that it is.

Worked exactly liek the video. One cat liked it, 1 ignored it. The one that liked it lost interest pretty quickly. So it goes with cats. But it worked as described & I don't regret having it around.

My cat absolutely loved this toy, however it needs to be able to be opened up to clean around the wheels to keep it moving. The wheels got stuck due to hair/lint getting wrapped around them.

If you don't have wide open floors(no rugs or carpets), this will be an interesting experiment. We would likely be better off with an R/C snake or mouse.

Product came as specified, cat was happy to, loves the fish, still trying to figure out the snake! lol Like all toys same for kid's toys he will get bored of it but for now he's happy ! Price was decent to didn't break the bank and they can be passed down to a friend or family member thinking about getting a cat when mines done with it so it's something that can be reused! I would purchase again!

I got my money's worth in a day, but the accumulation of lint made it necessary to try cleaning the axles.Even in death, my cat still loves it and carries it between her bowl, bed, etc.It was so perfect to sit and watch her play with it. It almost never got stuck and worked its way out of the tightest spots. If only they could work out a way to reduce lint pickup by the rubber tires, it would be literally perfect.

It works great. The cats have varying degrees of interest, but that's them, not the toy. In my opinion, a softer material that they could dig their claws into would be an improvement, but overall it's good toy.
