Cheap and uncheerful
If these were intended for gardening then I think they would be ok until you face thorns and rose bush branches, since the leather is somewhat thin but very stiff, and they offer next to no insulation from the cold plus the seams are rather thick and tend to catch under your fingernails. I ordered a very similar pair of gloves last year containing a fleece lining and the difference in comfort and finishing is very notable. These gloves are rough and ready for painting, maybe heavy carpentry, shovel work, digging etc, but for my job in a cold storage warehouse they are cumbersome, and restricting, cold and fairly uncomfortable over long shifts, therefore I ditched these and went back to warm knitted company issue gloves again after just one shift. Only 5 out of 10 on the gloveometer Iโm afraid.

Good fit for me, Leather throughout, much better than regular Rigger gloves
Thought I would give these a try as an alternative to those cheap part-leather Rigger gloves. I measured my hand according to the photo in the listing and they are 22cm, in between the medium and large sizes. My fingers are longer than usual, so I went with the Large size. The fit has been very good for me, with the fingers been not quite long enough for me (but I'm used to that). They come up slightly higher on my wrist than a Rigger glove and fit me a lot better. The whole thing is genuine leather and there is some stretch in all directions because of this. Because there is no cotton reinforcement or other stitching the leather should deform slightly to fit me even better as I use them. There are loose bits of leather on the inside (see photo), not a problem as such, but they do remind you these are fairly cheap still! However, I have not seen any issues with the construction and they provide the protection I was expecting from sharps edges of stones and bricks. Would probably buy again actually...

No more thorns n stingers
These came quickly. They fitted really well as I had folowed instructions and measured my palm width. Have used them cutting back nettles and stingers and not a thorn or a sting! Next job will be pruning a berberis. Love that the thumb is flexible because of clever stitching. Would definitely buy again as good quality at a good price.

Not very good for construction work
I purchased these gloves for a dry stone walling job and after 3 days the finger ends have worn through. Shame really because they are a nice comfortable glove just not fit for construction work as advertised.

Great
Great fit, great price. Have used for clearing shrubs in an overgrown garden and during renovation work in a old cottage. Very protective but still able to manipulate tools easily. For the price I don't really care if they last forever or not, although they are taking a lot of punishment very well.
