I just received this robe for a Mother’s Day gift for my VERY deserving mother in law. She wanted a thick, warm, and water absorbent robe to put on straight out of the shower. I searched through many “terry” robes because I was looking for a plush bath towel like material, I didn’t want to wind up with a very thin, wash cloth like, thickness. This is a medium, and as far as mediums go this is a little larger then an average medium you might purchase from say a Walmart, Meijer, Kohl’s, etc., type store. It is definitely a heavier robe, guessing it weights 3lbs ish, which is what I was looking for. I generally buy larges for myself, this robe fits me good. The material is amazing and so soft for not being washed yet. It crosses over perfect in the front for coverage, the sleeves can be left down or rolled up once for a cuffs, nice size pockets, and the length is great. The Rose Coral color, is so vivid and beautiful. Some people revived and said it was cheap, not good quality or not sewn well, I’m not sure why. The craftsmanship looks very good. I am soooo very pleased with this gorgeous robe, I want one for myself! I will review again in a few months or so after washing and wearing to update on the quality.Thank you to all who posted reviews and photos previous to my purchase, they were very helpful in deciding to make this purchase. The photos were key in my decision because I could see the thickness on someone wearing it.

I was looking for a full length, terry cloth robe that is thick and absorbent in a fun color. This robe fits the bill! Per instructions, I washed it first which did make it a little softer. I love the vibrant purple color; just like the sales photo. Amazon recommended size M for me and the fit is perfect. I’m 5’4”, 150 lbs. 39”-32”-42” with short arms. I do not roll the sleeves up, so the sleeves may be short if you have long arms.

Nice thick fabric. Soft and warm. Color was accurate.

The terry bathrobe is fantastic. It's thick, feels great on and looks good. I am very pleased with this robe!

Wife got me a similar one a couple years ago, and she just went down from 420 lbs to 190 in a year and a half so I got her one, knowing that if the Lg doesn't fit, I can return it for an XL, but she would soon fit in it, anyway cause she is still losing weight. Turns out I got exactly the right size. She wears it every night while we sit on the couch in front of the fire watching Perry Mason reruns on the big screen. Warm, and fluffy stuffy ruffly muffly, as she says. Well made, functional pockets, thick and heavy. Good price for what you get. Perfect length for her at 5'7", too. A short shortie would need to hem it up a bit or try to get by with a smaller size. This won't fit right out of the box for a short chubby girl as this is truly a full length robe.

I ordered this robe in early December. It was not delivered until today, January 19th. I kept getting, 'order is delayed' notices. I didn't mind this hiccup though because I got a great price. I ordered the turquoise color. It is more of a bright blue than it is aqua - which is fine, it's very pretty. The material is heavy (I hope not too heavy), and it appears absorbent. I am 5'4, 148 lbs and the large fits nicely. My number one concern is that the product didn't have any tags on it to indicate that it's brand new. I would've really liked to see some tags. Plus, there was a slight perfume scent attached to it, which sort of bothered me, so I washed it. It washed alright. Overall, my experience is uncertain. The product seems great, but some of the occurrences around it were odd.At the end of the day, I'll make the best of it.

Ignore the reviews that say this robe is not thick/plush. You have to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and WASH IT BEFORE WEARING to plump it up. The robe came out of the dryer all fluffed up and soft. It is thick and heavy (4.4 pounds for the large), and therefore warm. After reading a lot of reviews, I couldn't decide whether to order the medium or the large. I assumed I wouldn't be able to return it after washing, and figured better too big than too small, so I ordered the large. It is big on me; I had to turn up the sleeves, but it's nice and long and overlaps well at the waist, so I'm satisfied. (I'm 5'7", 150 lbs.)
