Q: I have a question about the nutrients in this product. I have another brand of moringa that says 39% iron in 3 grams, so why does this say 1% iron/4g?

Although we cannot speak to other companies’ products specifically, our own Nutrition Facts panels list the vitamin and mineral content of the food in the package as we ourselves have tested it. Other companies may or may not use nutrition facts taken from a national database of like products rather than testing the product themselves. This can create variation in nutritional information.

Q: I've written to Sunfoods asking about the crunchy taste of this product., To date no response. Shouldnt this powder be mixed smooth?

The Moringa leaves are washed more than once before being dried and micro-pulverized into a powder to create our Moringa Powder. The gritty texture is simply part of the whole leaves that makes it through the pulverizing process intact. It is not harmful at all. Most of our customers will either drink the entire thing or they will leave the sediment at the bottom of the glass and pour out gritty part. Some Moringa products may be processed at much higher temperatures in order to remove the larger gritty particulates, but ours is kept to a minimum heat processing so it retains it’s nutritional content. You might also try making our recipe for Energizing Moringa Tea! The tea bag or other strainer will filter out all of the grittiness and other powdered part of the leaf.From the Sunfood Team

Not sure about losing weight, I think it's a good product that helps promote better health. Strict diet for belly fat no carbs
