BAZIC Clear Tape 3/4" X 1000", Transparent Stationery Tapes Glossy Finish Refills Rolls, Arts Craft Gift Wrapping (3/Pack), 1-Pack

I prefer shiny clear tape instead of the "magic" matte finish tape which is cloudy looking and not transparent as it is advertised.Having said that, I bought this tape, thinking it would fit the bill of glossy and clear. I put it on my heavy duty scotch tape dispenserand so disappointed with this tape. Because it sticks to itself, it comes off the roll in jerky motions, leaving lines across the width of the tape which also shows on the tape once it is placed on the paper.

Once I figured out how to use this tape I liked it fine. And by that I mean when I put the tape in my regular plastic dispenser roll I could not get it to tear, something I had never seen before. It took a thinking and guessing to figureit out but I then switched the tape to a dispenser roll that had metal teeth for tearing as opposed to the plastic teeth and this did it! This is good strong tape just know that it likely won't tear with a dispenser that has plastic teeth.

I tried using this tape but it kept splitting lengthways. I threw it out. Won't buy no name tape again.

It's a little tougher tape than than the other major brand, ( think Edinburough). Good, I would purchase again, made from a different type of material. Almost like vinyl.
