Mivizu Nike,iPod Shoe Lace sensor Pouch for Nike , iPod Sport Kit-Lime

I really like this to convert non-Nike shoes for use with the Nike+ iPod sensor. The only problem is that I often switch shoes, preferring to let my shoes dry and rest between workouts, so I have to unlace my shoes to switch the pouch from shoe to shoe. I would prefer to have an easier method for changing shoes that was still reliably secure. I suppose I could buy a second pouch, but I would still have to pry the sensor out each time. I would worry that the pouch would become less snug over time, and I would risk losing the sensor. Another alternative is to invest in a second sensor, but that seems extreme, and I'm not sure my workouts would sync together from sensor to sensor. None of this is a deal breaker, just not as convenient as it could be.

This little device works perfectly with the Nike+iPod sensor. Personally, I already have gym shoes that I love, and didn't want to have to purchase a whole new pair just to use my sensor. I thought maybe I could just put the sensor between the laces or in the bottom of my shoe, but it DOES NOT WORK. The calibration just doesn't seem to work correctly when you do it that way - perhaps it doesn't wiggle enough, but it doesn't register most of my steps. This little pouch, though, seems to solve the issue. It works great, and the sensor picked up my jogging effortlessly. I did have to calibrate it once, but it's work fine since then and I just leave the little pouch on my shoe when I'm not using the sensor.Highly recommend it!

I liked the color but one of the tabs were sewn slightly out of line. Makes it set a little crooked on the shoe but doesn't affect function. If you lace it in so Mivizu logo shows, you have to unlace to get the gadget out (which I do quite a bit because I change between pairs of shoes). You can lace the pouch upside down so the velcro is on top: this allows easy access but looks tacky. Another brand has a nice fold over flap for easy access without looking crummy but costs 2-3 bucks more.

I got this as a gift for a friend to help her track her progress, along with the Nike+ iPod Sport Kit. She loves it, and uses it all the time. She can't wear Nike shoes, so it was sort of a necessity or else I would have had to get her some other kind of HRM, but this tied everything all together nicely.

It keeps the sensor secure in place and on shoe. No complaints on the price, function, packaging or speed of delivery of this purchase. Very happy with the purchase in all aspects.

Light weight and cute colors- the pod feels secure but a little difficult to get in and out of pocket. Not sure it's waterproof which ceases the option of running in the rain

I saw several different variations of this product, but this one is by far the most attractive (imo). It is really simple and it works fine. You simply stick the sensor in the pouch and you dont have to worry about it.simple. cheap. effective.
