First and foremost I've been apprehensive about using a thong shaper for years now. The reason behind that I had used, many years ago, pretty much ripped me a new one. It was the most uncomfortable and damn near unbearable shapewear I had ever used, but unfortunately I was at a wedding and my ego wouldn't allow me to just take it off. Needless to say after all those hours of suffering I said never again. Fast forward to the present, I hate panty lines, so I naturally love things and haven't quite found a good waist shaper for just around my midsection that remains in place without rolling and/or creating fat rolls or spillage on my back, so it seemed wise to give the thong shaper another try. This time I didn't wait till I needed it to try it on. I'm extremely happy to say that this didn't cause any discomfort nor pain. The material has just enough stretch that its comfortable but still squeezes me in, in all the right places. I honestly don't have too much of a tummy, but I am self conscious about my mommy pooch and this smooths me out enough to make me feel confident in dresses. I love that there are no unnecessary panty lines. My only recommendation is that if you are trying to compress a few inches you'll probably want to size down, but I'd advise ordering 2 sizes in order to determine what's best for you and your behind, certainly wouldn't wish my original experience on anyone :/.

Love the material, love that it has boning, but it doesn't really do that much! It will smooth you out a little but that's it.

It fit fine but didn't hold, shape, slim, did nothing. Bought for under a dress for a wedding to give that smooth look. I'll keep looking...

If your looking for a waist trainer or your a BBW with a huge belly, this ain’t for you. This is more for those who has pouch or loose or extra skin in the tummy area. Maybe even for some muffin tops or love handles. For ex: i used to be very over weight, and had two kids, i got a pouch & then lost a lot of weight so now i have a saggy big pouch that’s from hip to hip. This worked to keep everything in place & smooth me out. I am 5’2 141 pounds. I’m wearing a size XS. (Pic on the left I’m not wearing it, right pic i am wearing it) other pics to show how it looks in tights & jeans. I’m actually size medium in bottoms however for the max tightness i highly recommend go a one size or two smaller. It does not roll down. I even removed the two wires in the back (comes two in the back two in the front) for my own preference & it still worked like a charm & didn’t roll down. The thong didn’t bother me at all. U can wear this thong version over your regular panty underwear & u still won’t get a wedgie. I wear it for 9-10 hours straight for work & it’s super comfortable. I will definitely purchase more. & i recommend it for jeans, tights & dresses.

Comfortable to wear. However, the boning does not come to the very top of the shaper, so it rolls in the back immediately. Will be returning.

I didn’t realize the stomach part had boning in it. It’s very noticeable if your wearing something tight. I think they’re pretty comfortable. I probably would’ve sized up if I bought them again. The high waist can dig in

I was not sure what underwear would be best to wear under a tight bodysuit that shows just about everything. These were perfect. I’m 5’3, 123 pounds, and small was comfortable. It really smoothed out my lower tummy without being too tight or uncomfortable. I wore it for about 12 hours without issue. It even smoothed out rolls when I sat down! It is super high waisted and maybe it’s because my actual waist is small but the top band tended to roll down a little.. but with so many positives about this garment it isn’t a big deal. I felt super confident as Samus ⚡️

These are great!, I had a hysterectomy and have swelly belly still 8 months later. For reference I am 5"8, weighing 155 lbs. I am typically a size L in thongs. I bought a size small and medium as I wanted compression for my stomach. I prefer the small, so if you want tight, but comfortable compression, go down two sizes.

When I first opened the package I was afraid these would not be comfortable. When I tried them on I was surprised they actually had a bit of stretch and didn't feel roo tight or compress too much. The thing was not at all comfortable. The only thing I wish is that these went up a little higher. Maybe underneath the breast because they seem to take all my fat from my belly and push it up as you can see from the photo I posted. So although it smooths out the belly area it rolls over the tip of the panties which is still unflattering. That may due to my height and would probably work well for those who aee kess tall than me. I will definitely look to see if they have a body suits which I believe will better suit my body's needs.
