Faulty fire alarm
Use these to cover our fire alarm in our apartment that goes off every time we cook. Since using these, it’s gone off maybe once. Such a life saver!

Way better than painter's tape!

Expensive But Gets the Job Done
Staying at a hotel while on business for a long period and cook my own meals in the kitchen of my suite. The smoke alarm here goes off when I cook toast - not even burning it. It goes off when someone in the neighboring rooms smokes - which sends us into the parking lot in the rain at night.Well these nifty shower cap like products solved my smoke alarm problem, now I just need to find the smoker in this smoke free hotel and give him or her one.The pros are that they do the job.The cons are that they are just too expensive for what they are.
