This blanket is great! It's a lightweight knit and large enough for a woman. I bought the dark blue one for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. The color is a lot prettier in person. Some reviewers commented about a funny smell but the one I received doesn't smell like anything. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The only thing accurate about this blanket is the color. It came with a horrendous chemical odor. It is extremely thin, itchy material. There's no way someone would be able to fit into the blanket it was extremely narrow especially to the bottom. It didn't flare out how it does in the picture. I expect differences in items that are handmade or made fast but this was beyond being incorrect for that reason.

When this blanket arrived it was shrink wrapped. When we opened the packaging the odor was overwhelming and three of us had terrible allergy attacks. It was like a stinkbomb went off. I immediately washed the blanket and that helped. While long enough for an adult to use as a lap blanket it is so narrow that getting both legs inside the thing was claustrophobic at bast. The thin, plasticy feeling yarn is not well knit. Skip this product.

Ordered this as a gift for my sister was surprised with the quality of it after reading mixed review. It seems as though some people are receiving a very different product. The blanket I got was a teal color made up of a few shades of blues and greens interwoven in a wave crochet pattern. It's much nicer than I expected for the price. The blanket is tight to about mid thigh then opens up to a blanket top with an opening for feet. It is snug I'm 5' and 130 lbs and it was snug on my legs but long. Overall I think it's a cute gift!

This is not mint green AT ALL. It is a teal, there are various other colors woven in (which is fine- the pictures show that). No worries, I think my friend will still like this color but I really wanted her to have a trendy mint green. Oh well. It has a strong weird plastic smell, I have hung it up to air it out and recently used febreeze on it. I suppose if that doesn't do the trick I will wash it prior to gifting it to my friend. I've tried it on, it fits well, what a whimsical little throw to keep your arms and torso warm. I like the knit fabric as well.

This is the third of these mermaid tail blankets that I now have, and the muted multicolor off white of this makes it my favorite. It's pretty and girly without being ridiculous, and soft and very comfy to wear. Of course, where the tail tapers to the fin forces you to shuffle like Morticia Addams should you decide to try to walk in it, but honestly, I find that to be some of the childlike fun that wearing this brings me.Great for snuggling up on the couch to Netflix and chill on chilly days! Made as well as any of the others I have, launders up well, and very cozy and snuggly on. The only thing that'd make this/these better is a neck strap to wear it halter-style and keep it in place (especially since the plush one I bought with a neck strap didn't prove anywhere near as durable as the crocheted/knit ones I have).

Item material is soft and stretchy to a point. Very pretty colors that match the pictures posted. There was no weird smell too it coming out of the package like there is on a lot of new clothing items. I would give it 5 stars but I thought that it would offer more coverage than what it does. It gets very narrow towards the tail and isnt quite as practical as I had imagined. Still clean, and cute, and well made. But it's better suited for small, petite kids.

The person that I gave this to, loved it and said they'd cherish it for a long time. They said it was extreme soft and very cute too.
