I am not going to get into memory. RAM etc. with this review. I will leave that to the eggheads. I am going to review this from a regular person using a laptop computer angle.First of all my typing skills are not good so I often need to see the keyboard to type. The backlight keyboard is one of the "must have" features for me. I have it on this HP BUT it is so dimly lit on it's brightest setting, you are constantly tilting the screen down to light the keys as the lighting on full brightness is that bad! Menus are constantly popping up and keep asking if you want spell check, even though I checked spell check US just five minutes ago.This is the only computer I have ever owned that has an evil mind of its own. By that it seems to just go where it wants to go whenever I am in the middles of sending an email for example. it will jump to Facebook! The email system is terrible as it formats badly and you never know if your emails are getting sent. This could be a fault of AOL as well. I apparently touched something and all of my emails from 2023 disappeared not to be found again! The mouse pad is really bad. It is not lined to tell you right from left and often they switch roles. There many other quirks about this computer, for example it is very pop up friendly and you never know if you will finish an email before it jumps to another web site! All in all I have owned many laptops and I had a Dell before this that worked much better but was a terrible design. The SD card slot was so close to the DVD slot that often the SD card would go into the DVD slot and it was a nightmare to fix. This computer is actually worse than the Dell as this one goes and does what it wants to when you are right in the middle of doing a meaningful project. I would never buy this and may do a video soon of me destroying it with Tannerite! Stay away as I cannot think of one good thing to say about this laptop. The plug ins are scarce and awkward as well. When deleting junk emails I will have around a dozen checked to delete and on the last one a pop up menu appears out of nowhere and makes me have to check all the emails all over again. Tiring.I wish I knew when I ordered this what I know now. WASTED MONEY! I am going back to an ASUS!

Keyboard typing sometime deletes work. Or cursor just moves on its own, not where I want it to go. Called HP 3x re thus. Told me nothing wrong. Now out of warranty period but problem still persistists..will not buy another HP again! U use for work, don't have time for this nonsense. They tell u its all good so they don't have to fix during warranty period. Don't buy HP. They are rip offs. Service is all based outside of USA as no one spoke good English. I'll get a Mac next time. I even ha e a printer of theirs. Broke after 6 months. Useless company
