I was looking for something that would last longer than the bamboo ones.Tried these, but found they’re too heavy and too thin, it makes it hard to control the pressure (in my experience) which is meant to be very light. I prefer to use the bamboo ones which, unfortunately, although much easier to use, don’t last very long.

I really like the idea of having the base and handle together, but I found that using the metal (Stainless Steel) spreader tends to not be as smooth as using the wooden bamboo tools. I found the batter would clump on it, making it difficult to spread evenly.

If you're buying this for the spatula, it's thin and cheaply made. I was looking for crepe spreaders that would last a lifetime and be all once piece so they're easy to clean. Glad I chose these over the wooden variety that you have to take apart to wash thoroughly. These are quite heavy so if you have a weak wrist, arthritis, etc., you'll probably want to buy the lightweight wooden spreaders. If you let these rest on the batter without holding them up, they'll sink down to the pan due to the weight. After a few weeks of getting used to the weight, I'm pleased. Took a bit of work to learn to manipulate them, though.
