Tried using this to press roll pins into flip key fob. All it does is bend the roll pins. Impossible to align for a straight press. Very disappointing

I heeded the warnings about breaking the pins when attempting to remove roll pin from key fob. What I found is helpful for successful removal without breaking the tool pin is alignment at the top and bottom of the key fob pin is critical, and a slow squeeze of the pliers to remove the pin. I tried the hammer and pin punch method, did not work. This tool is designed to remove and install the key fob pins

It was between this and another took for about $20. The “supplier” is probably some guy behind a computer that has access to a shipping container full of these things sitting in a CA shipyard, straight from China. It has rust all over it, scrapes all over the metal (no polish or attempt to smoothen out the steel), the magnets that are suppose to catch the retaining pins are shattered, sticking all over the tool, and on the first use, the retaining pin being inserted, the decapping pin busted while trying to finish the job.There is a YouTube tutorial on this tool. They’re using a Mazaratti compared to the stone and stick I was sent. While trying to work the pin in, getting the thing flawlessly in without damaged the FOB is an art form in itself while using this. There is another cheap plastic looking tool that you can secure the key in while working on it. I’ll try for that..

Perfect for xhorse keys and the extra probe helps broke one quickly but it was user error

Worked the first time I used it. Also, a but broke with the first use. It does come with 2 extra bits so I guess it's ok for the price. The tool itself is solid. Just the bits are junk.

First open it found a lot metal bugs left in around the hole of the pin & then clean up hood remove all metal left from manufacture did not filed make sure is no things metal left then 1st try open key blade of Mecedes benz the key pin I broken an half & good thing about it it’s have magnetic sat on the tool so u can see clearly pickup a broken pin still stuck in the magnetic piece , 2nd try another side remove ok the pin out so make becarefull using this china made product, I think seller better make little more stronger for material because these pin is not easy remove it out,I will contact Amazon get replacement less 1 hrs to use it 👎
