I bought this bar soap for hubby in the Bergamot & Musk scent. I was totally winging it on the scent, not sure if he’d like it or not.He really loved it! So a definite win there.As for the soap itself, I questioned him after his first use and here’s what he said: “It lathers good. It rinses well. It doesn’t leave a film. I’m not itching. And the bar was easy to handle, you know in my hands. So yeah, I like it.”My thoughts? It left him smelling AMAZING and the scent lingering for hours! Yummy!Note: Hubby takes his showers after work in the evenings and he was concerned the scent would conflict with his cologne when applied before work in the morning. But luckily by then it had faded. So no worries. If you shower in the morning it may be wise to choose one of the scent options of this soap with similar fragrance notes to your cologne so they compliment each other.We will definitely be purchasing more. Hubby wants to try out the other scents!

Was hesitant on buying This bar bc I’ve never heard of them. My gosh, I’m glad I gave in for a “try” (I got it in cedar and citrus scent). Well that “try” has me coming to Amazon for another. The scent is VERY pleasing, and you can even smell it on your after the shower —which I like. I love smelling my arms periodically after my shower bc I’m able to smell the soap on me.Surprisingly enough, this bar does not dry out my skin!!!! I always have this fear that bar soap leaves skin dry and itchy. Nope, not with this one. Compared to another brand I was using, I don’t have to follow up with Dove soap to provide that moisture that the other bar stripped away. This Ness bar leaves me feeling clean, moisturized and smelling great. Lathers beautifully!! Definitely recommend keeping it dry after the shower bc it makes it last longer.CONS (very few): I was a little surprised by how thin it was out the package. For $10 per bar (5oz), I expected it to be a thick bar like other well known brands of the same price. As a result of it being thin, the bar doesn’t last very long for me—two weeks at most. I use a washcloth as it helps me to lather my body. I know some ppl use the bare bar on their skin but I don’t know how this affects longevity.All in all, I’m hooked!! I love this soap bar and will continue buying it. I hope the company makes it so that we can buy it in bulk instead of single bars.

I usually go with a big brand like dial mens soap bar but I know it’s bad for my skin. I decided to give Ness a try since it’s organic and claims really good ingredients. 

I can honestly say it’s the best soap bar for men I’ve ever used! My skin feels so good and my wife even noticed how good it smells after I shower. It fills the entire bathroom with scent when you take it out of the box.

I also like that it comes shrink wrapped so I know that I’m getting a fresh bar and not a returned or used one. That’s a big plus for me over some of the other brands on amazon like squatch.

I believe the ingredients are actually premium and I can tell you it’s better than other similar soaps that I’ve tried because it lathers really well and lasts longer. It’s pricey but so worth it!

I like to use this soap bars on days I’m around people, always getting compliments about how I smell without cologne

but that shouldnt shy you away from trying this product. The main reason for buying this were the ingredients it was made with. My wife wanted me to use cleaner ingredients and this checked her boxes. Use case is pretty str8 forward, the bar smells nice, it lathers and even cleans fine in my case. The sucker just wont stay in my hand and i have big hands. It gets very slippery with water contact and i keep dropping the soap onto my shower floor. If you think thats manageable for you then by all means its a great product. Just slippery AF when it comes to using it.

It's been a month since I took a chance on Ness' Cedar & Citrus Scent Natural Soap bar, and I don't regret it at all. In fact, it's been the best soap I've used. The bar on the left is new, and the bar on the right is after a month of showers in the morning and the evening, plus after workouts. No, I didn't follow the directions on how best to use it, but you can see that using it as a whole bar works just fine, and there's still more usage left. I made sure to put it on top of the new pumice stone to keep it dried out when not in use.So, what I like about it is how it feels on my skin. Where other soaps like Raw Sugar still dried my skin out,Ness' formula, however it works, does its job to clean and leave my skin less dry than any other soap I've used. The only thing I recommend when using it is that you should know the bottom of your feet get slippy when you soap them up in the shower.

Doesn't in the slightest smell like "Sandalwood" or "Sage". Reeks like perfume and not at all like what should be a soap for guys. Not remotely like Sandalwood or Sage.Will be returning or throwing out.

I really like the feel of the soap, and the lather it creates is wonderful with a good wash cloth in the shower. The Maritime Moss scent is... not bad. I really didn't know what to expect, but let me tell you Moss is pretty dang accurate. So if you don't like that very earthy-planty scene, don't get that one.Besides the soap, I feel like another aspect of this product is meant to be environmentally friendly. But I really wish the company would NOT shrink-wrap the container the bars come in with plastic! Plenty of other brands successfully send their soap in paper or cardboard containers. The paper wrapper this comes in is actually a good quality paper too - so please nix the plastic wrapper going forward!
