Good product/needs improvement
Good product for the money. Works well for my boat, 16.5' key largo. Does have a flaw though, the top part where the controls are isn't waterproof at all. This is why I give it 3 stars. I have owned several of these and all have same problem. I have taken top cover off, applied dielectric grease to connections, added oring to tiller handle, (housing has groove for oring already), and sealed cover back on with silicone sealant. Easy and quick improvement that hopefully will result in no corrosion issues in the years to come.
