With these, you really need to keep in mind the context of just how affordable they are. They're not a luxury item. But they very well might fool your neighbors into thinking that they are.They look pretty darn nice, with a believable copper finish. They run entirely on the solar charged battery which I think is insanely cool, but make sure you put them in direct sunlight to charge during the day.I'm a night owl... and when I'm still up late, they are often still impressively bright. The only time I was underwhelmed by their night time brightness was when it had been cloudy during the day, so they didn't receive adequate sunlight.I'd definitely recommend them. Set up was straightforward, they seem like they'll last, and they are a bargain.

The copper works perfectly for my landscaping and is different from what's available in stores. They provide a nice ambient lighting which is what I wanted. I don't want lights that are too bright as they tend to attract more flying bugs.ALL OF MY LIGHTS WORK!! Understand that these are solar powered, which means they must store power in a rechargeable battery during the day, in order to provide light at night....so....Open the box in the morning, take each light and follow the directions to put the switch from OFF to AUTO.... then out the light back in the holder. Once all of them have been put in AUTO... Put ALL of the lights, (WHILE STILL IN THE cardboard HOLDER), in the sunniest spot in your yard so that they have all day to get a good first charge. Go ahead and plant the stakes where you want them until it's early evening and your ready to test the lights.ALSO... if after a while if one stops working it may not be a bad battery. I've encountered that the switch simply may have oxidized, simply open it up and toggle the OFF/AUTO switch back and forth several times and TA DAH, it works again!

for one,the box had obviously already been opened and re-taped. I din't know why, but these guys just never charged - perhaps I was missing a clue? I don't know. They were returned6/25/17Well, I had a great experience with the folks at Winchance - sent me replacements .. Now these still aren't as bright as the Frost-fires, but I love the copper color and the small footprint.Thanks y'all!

These were meant to be lighting for our front walkway. Unfortunately, our house faces north so they don't get direct sunlight. They are quite dim. They look pretty and withstand rain well. But I don't recommend unless you place them in an area that wI'll receive all day light.

If I wrote this review when I first bought them it would of been a 5. Love them, I am in Florida and the bright sun charges them up last evening and into the early morning. But my disappointment is some of them are rusting after being outside for just 6 months

they don't alway light up - it has to be a very sunny day to power them. and they don't provide much light but they are pretty

NONE OF THEM WORK. CHEAPLY MADE. TWO SNAPPED WHEN I PUT THEM IN THE SOFT SOIL.

Two have already stopped charging and producing light. Would not recommend.
