does not have the body or depth of flavor of a really good decaf espresso

The coffee is good but I cannot go through 2 pounds in 4 weeks and there is no returns. Just expected it would have a best by date at least 2 or 3 months like my Newman's organic which is about 6 months. Also expected to see the date the beans were roasted.

Coffee tastes and sells good, but we ordered the ground espresso decaf and it came as a relatively course ground coffee, so not usable in an espresso machine. Disappointed that it was labeled as an espresso blend, but not ground for use as espresso

Espresso Blend is a delicious whole bean decaf coffee. I'm not usually a fan of decaf, but it seems like brewers have gotten better at preserving flavor while eliminating caffeine. It is dark without being bitter. The tasting notes are detectable and enjoyable. I ground it in a burr grinder and brewed it in my BUNN coffee maker. The aroma is terrific and the bean are good sized and intact. For the price this is a quality shade grown coffee and I'd get it again since I'm already finishing up this bag. Best by date of 03/10/23.It would be nice to know where the beans are sourced from, but otherwise no complaints. Certified USDA Organic.~ Kort

This is by first decaf expression blend. I use it for my la specialista expresso machine. So I throw some of these whole beans in the grinder my machine comes with and ready to go. If decaf so it’s nice or just have coffee and not the extra caffeine. Especially when i want another cup and it’s kinda late to drink another without fear up keeping me up and being wired. good alternative option to have in the house. This is dark roast so it’s bitter. I usually need creamer for this type of brew.

This decaf blend is a little above average, but not exceptional. It's a dark roast so it does have a bit more of that roasted/burnt flavor than a medium, although I wouldn't call it the darkest dark - maybe closer to between a medium and dark roast. This is a whole bean variety so you can grind it to the level you would like. The flavor has some berry/molasses/sour notes, but wasn't bitter. I find decaf to normally be a little less flavorful than regular coffee, and this is no exception, but it's good for those looking for options without caffeine.The bag does not have a tight seal - FYI.Overall, I would recommend it.

Not bad for a decaf coffee. Good for an evening or night you're craving coffee but also need sleep.
