Weather 2nd Edition

Private pilot recommends it.

The book is not fluff, but information only a competent Meteorologist could explain. I found myself discovering and learning concepts not addressed in other text books. The author conveys - teaches in a simplistic, concise methodology, leaving the reader smiling in an aha moment.

This book didn't talk about meteorological terms as I wanted. I was kind of disappointed. This author has written more concise textbooks that were available at my local library and that was what I was looking for.

I purchased this book for my granddaughter with the hope that she will either become a meteorologist or at least have a better understanding of how weather works. I'm getting tired of explaining to her the "how's and why's" of weather systems.
