I manage a gym and we print daily, employee manuals, paperwork, marketing, welcome folders, club signs, etc. so we use a lot of ink. We have an HP Printer (OfficeJet Pro 6978) and were using the brand name HP ink for a while. I decided to give this ink a try and I'm so glad I did. For the price it's an amazing value to get an XL black and multi-color ink cartridges. Sometimes they even have a good deal with two XL black and multi-color ink cartridges for around the same price!I've ordered this ink quite a few times now and I've never had an issue installing this ink with my printer either, I'll get the alert that it's not an HP cartridge sometimes but that never effects the quality of the printing. I've tried other brands of remanufactured ink before and the main issue was always not being able to install the ink properly. We were even able to leave some of the fuller HP cartridges installed in the printer while we replaced the low inks with the Colorking ink; no issue or complications at all. I highly recommend this brand to everyone I know who uses a printer.

Although I purchased this item in September 2023 (To be ready when my ink ran out) I didn't actually need to Install them until last week (January 2024). Yellow cartridge does not work. When I shake it it sounds solid, With other cartridges I can hear the liquid (Yes I did remove the tape). Obviously since the company will only do a return for 30 days I am "out of luck" (Even Amazon support can't help). So a caution to all if you buy these ColorKing cartridges try them out immediately because some of them may be defective. Or buy from someone else (This is the first and last time I will purchase this product).UPDATE: This vendor has corrected my problem by providing a full refund for the defective shipment - Thank you.

I used these cartridges on my printer and it works beautifully. I had no issues with it. It fit perfectly and the colors were just as vibrant as other brands. I used it on my home printer and also for my business. I printed out pages and pages the colors don’t run at all, prints nice and clear and the ink dried fast. Came very fast and packaged nicely. I will continue to order for not only home but for all my business needs as well. Easy to install and has lasted so long, will order another soon just for backup . I’m a happy customer .

The installation of the cartridges was very easy and the print quality of the copies are good. The only negative is the cartridges ran out of ink really quick. Seems like they were only half full or less.Update: I was contacted by customer support from the company and after some back and forth emails we came to a mutual agreement. HP detected not HP ink cartridges - won’t allow the generic ink cartridges. How to get it accepted? No issue in the past these won’t load correctly. 3 stars orig but due to excellent customer service to work to improve the quality compatibility now 5 starsThis seems to be HP security to only allow HP ink to verify their printers print qualityBut if ink is to be compatible in genetic ink will need chip in ink to be read by HP printer or do not share these can be HPCompatible -Amazon’s customer service very responsive to try to remedy issue - thank you for the assistance and response to better QC ink replacement to be better compatibility with HP printers

So I used these 3x before with no issue and was always able to bypass the system, but I think the set I received this time had already been returned by someone and were blocked by hp by a user who didn't know the workaround so now they are totally useless to me. I am Two weeks outside the return window so am stuck with useless cartridges and out 30$. I mostly blame HP, but the reseller company should know better than to send out returned ones when they are aware of the issue and sending out a non hp chip workaround instructions with purchase. Super lame and frustrating and can't print my kids homework for the week.

I will coming back to buy more ink cartridges, how can one go wrong ?
