I mixed the blue spirulina pigment powder with some frozen bananas in the food processor. I was hoping for a more 'royal blue' color🔵 but I was still really impressed with the flavor & color of this summer treat🍌🍦.The powder tastes fairly 'fishy' or 'sea-like' on its own. But adding this powder to a sweet banana mash truly complemented both ingredients.Blue pigment rarely occurs in terrestrial nature. The only blue fruit I know is the cassowary plum which is deadly toxic to humans.So this blue pigment is a delicacy. And who knows, maybe there are some added health benefits. I heard the blue pigment in spirulina had evolved to enhance the photosynthetic capabilities of chlorophyll. So maybe there is some health benefit to consuming those together, I can only speculate.But it's really fun to have a natural food coloring. I hope the producers of this product are able to lower production costs in the future, because I'll definitely be buying this stuff in the future. Takes a little bit to become wet, so you have to soak, or stir for a bit - but a fun, healthy addition to food or drinks

This looks like butterfly pea flower powder. But it tastes like it has passion fruit powder in it. It is chalky in texture. I accidentally ordered it thinking it was the same one I had ordered before. The ad picture is fake the powder is more grey than blue.

I normally purchase a different brand of this on amazon but the price keeps going up. I figured I would give this brand a try. I was equally amazing and half the price. This will definitely be my new choice! Color was a nice rich blue, strong smell of good fresh quality, well packaged and good amount. Seller was quick to ship.I use this in my daily smoothie. So many health benefits! I would recommend this seller and will definitely be ordering again. Thanks so much

For the price I expected there to be more product, I should have read the fine print. There's no taste which is a great thing, however my smoothies didn't turn out as blue as I would like. The product it okay but I will not be purchasing this product again.
