Ecco Bella Eau de Parfum, Bourbon Vanilla, 1 Fluid Ounce

I purchased Ecco Bella Eau De Parfum Lemon Verbena on a whim. I often have a hard time finding perfumes that I like and that smell good on me. The price was right and it is a bright scent. It is true lemon verbena scent. It goes on a bit strong, but fades quickly. The latter comment is my only quibble. I recommend this and would buy it again. It's the perfect summer perfume!

This is quite an unusual fragrance in the way it develops over time.When I first sprayed this it was reminiscent of a blast of toilet cleaner mixed with notes of ginger and patchouli!! - doesnt sound appealing does it?.... Thought I had made a big mistake and wasted my money. But after an hour or so it calmed down and the toilet cleaner aspect faded completely. Further on into the day, I started getting softer, warmer notes of bourbon vanilla come through along with the spice, which culminated into a quite a unique fragrance, which have to say I really quite like.I had previously purchased the bourbon vanilla version as I am a vanilla freak and I try to get more natural fragrances with less toxic ingredients. I had really liked this vanilla one, but find the aroma of the Ambrosia more interesting and unusual.My tip would be to spray it on a couple of hours before you go out (or are around other people) in order to save them inhaling the initial power of it!

I’ve been using this perfume for years after getting it as a gift from My exes mom one year. It’s strong, but in the way that you just need one spritz and it’ll last all day. The small once on you is there but subtle and not overpowering. I’ve tried other brands to see if I could maybe not spend the amount on this one, but that was futile. It may be half the size of some others for the same price, but I’m only using 1 spray where in the others I’d use 4-6 just to feel like the smell stays.Really looking forward to someday getting the others to try as I love lavender too.

If you're a fan of vanilla and are trying to reduce the amount of potentially harmful chemicals in your everyday toiletries use, then this is the perfume for you!! It is a yummy smell, but not artificial like some vanilla perfumes can be. Both 'The good Guide' and Environmental Working Group' or 'EWG' which provide information on toxicity/ health risks and other factors, rate this perfume as safe and one of the better ones you can buy.By the way, the vanilla can create a darker brown/orange cloudy sediement near the bottom of the bottle when it has been standing a while - this is perfectly normal due to the natural ingredients and can be broken up to some degree.

Initially smells like a citronella candle. I’m sure it’s great for mosquitoe control. After the smell wears off, actually smells quite nice. A throwback to the 1880s.
