Will never buy spray starch again!
I'm so happy to have found this product. People don't seem to iron much any more, but I think even casual woven shirts, dresses and pants look so much sharper and more expensive when lightly starched and ironed. More professional too. I even starch and iron the decorative bands of top sheets and pillow cases for guests; the sheets look so much more luxurious and clean, and still feel soft -- as well as super smooth since they're not rumpled and wrinkled. This product works beautifully for this purpose. Mixing this starch concentrate with water is easy -- it dissolves readily, doesn't settle or come out of solution even after sitting in my spray bottle for weeks. It doesn't clog the sprayer. I can add a few drops of essential oils or cologne if I want a scent. I like that I can adjust the concentration of starch depending on how much body I want to add to the fabric I'm working with. FYI, I use a fine mist spray bottle that you pressurize with just a few pumps on a little built-in piston to deliver a light even application -- without wearing out my hand repeatedly squeezing a spray bottle. (Many sizes and styles of these bottles are available on amazon.)I'm looking to trying it for craft projects. I've made my own paper-mache pinatas for kids birthday parties in the past, and this starch concentrate would have produced a much better result.IMPORTANT GENERAL ISSUE: It's infinitely more sustainable / environmentally friendly to buy the dry form of ANY household product that would otherwise contain almost all water (any spray cleaner for laundry, windows, counters, etc, laundry detergents, floor cleaners.....). You can use one high quality spray bottle or other container appropriate to the purpose, for each type of product, and never throw away any more plastic containers. And shippers aren't squandering fossil fuels to transport a lot of water from product points of origin to your doorstep. And far fewer trips can be made by truckers and ships because they're transporting little bags of powders instead of large bottles or huge jugs of products that, again, are mostly water.

Who needs expensive starch? Not me.
LOVE this stuff. I'm a cheapskate, so I was making my own ironing starch at home. The problem was that it took hours for the starch to cool after you got it to boiling. Definitely not worth making it if you only need a little bit. AND it spoils after a while. Bought this stuff, and it worked great. Love that you can control how stiff your starch is. Love that it is instant. And compared to Best Press at $40 a gallon, this is dirt cheap at $5 a gallon. Make it weak if you want to freshen your clothes, and strong if you want paper-stiff, such as for crafting. May leave fabric shiny or with white if you make it too strong, but the residue comes off by shaking your fabric afterwards.

Gives a true "starched" look and feel to fabrics dipped and allowed to damp dry before pressing.
Unexpected plus - unlike when using a spray starch, the iron surface did not accumulate "scorch" as with the spray forms. This is much preferred if you have just a little time to dip and damp dry.

Variable strength starch in very easy to make amounts
First, buy a bottle for continuous spraying and then make this in any concentration that you like. I use this for quilting fabric and stiffening prior to cutting for more accurate cutting. It is extremely good. I have used starch that had to be boiled before use to get it to thicken. This is mix and use and very easy AND very little is necessary. I can't believe how economical it is. Ideal starch product.

Should've bought liquid
It works ok. But, it's really inconvenient. The powder doesn't mix with the water very well, and I tried using warm water to help, not much better. And the quality doesn't last when left out. But it works, just very hard to mix and must use immediately

Saves Money!!
I could never find starch and tried this product. I am so glad I did. Now I don’t have to throw cans in the trash. It works great too!

Works great for quilters
Worked great! Dissolved into the water perfectly, and stiffened the fabric great. I followed the recipe of 2tsp to 16oz water, which may be just a little stiff for ordinary quilting - more comparable to Luxe finish Faultless. I would dilute it to 2tsp to 22oz for a sizing finish.

Made my dress covered with white spots and ready for another wash round :-(
That is how my dress looked like right after starching and drying. I carefully followed the instruction provided - and you can see the results. I've also contacted the seller explaining them what happened and asking for advice - never heard back :-(DO NOT recommend!

Not as strong
It’s not as strong as the “old” aerosol spray starch. Just plan to add more to water as recommended. Maybe that will be better.
