Rescue Essentials QuikLitter K9 - Emergency Transport Stretcher/Litter (Large)

Got this for my geriatric dogs as a "just in case" means to carry them should I need to get them to the Vets. We'll made and easy to use. I tried it out soon my bigger old girl who is 90 pounds and it supported her with no issues and appears it was not uncomfortable for her. I hope I don't need to use it but, if I do I know I won't drop any of my girls. Great product at a great price!

*UPDATE*After reaching out to Rescue Essentials they took care of the issue.All in all this product does as described. Its fairly well built. However, I would say the design inclusion of an additional set or two of handles would be helpful and there isn't anything to support the dogs head. But for the price point, I cant complain too much. One thing I was taken back a little bit about was that the product packaging looked like a razor had slice through part of it before being packed for shipping. It left a line on the litter but it doesn't appear that it was damaged in a way that will affect functionality. I reached out to rescue essentials just to let them know but haven't heard back yet as it ships directly from them. My previous experiences with them have all been positive, so I was surprised to see that.

We have an aging Rottweiler and this is the product we need when he is struggling to get around. we had to take him to the vet and we were able to transport him safely and comfortably!

I thought this would work for my black lab. He's old and has trouble going up and down steps. I pulled it out to use it, but it was too small. It looks like it would be great for a smaller dog. Wish this was available in extra or extra extra large.

We bought this for our golden retriever when we go camping and hiking. We always were worried about her getting hurt and getting her back to our car. We like that it’s easy to carry a large dog because of the two handles on each side so you can split the weight. A good piece of mind product that I recommend to anyone who goes out with their dog

I got this for a medium/large size dog who has a lot of anxiety. As he ages, I'm expecting some issues, and I'm not strong enough to lift him as it is so we wanted a harness to distribute the weight for lifting.But our first thought when I saw this was part of our fire safety in the home. We've put together a kit for the new two story home, but how can you think of securing yourself without securing your pet. People always go back for their pets. In this case, the plan is to use the harness to lower the dog out the window if needed. It's not what the product was made for, I'm sure, but it's a great back up safety plan. Then as he ages, we can use the harness to transport him to/from the vehicle for vet visits.As someone mentioned in another review, I wish it had some sort of neck/head brace or way of keeping the head steady. But for what it costs, it's a good value.

Thankfully, I haven’t had to use this carrier and I hope I never do. But after dealing with the collapse and death of our 65lb dog last year and not being able to carry her to the vet, we want to be prepared for the worst. We have an elderly Border Collie weighing about 45lbs. This carrier seems more than strong enough to hold her weight. It’s made of nylon which is strong but lightweight and would allow two people to share the load. It should be fairly easy to slide under the dog and slip the legs through the holes. Having this gives us some peace of mind that in case of a dire situation, we’ll be ready.

My dog HATES the vet and knows immediately where we are when we pull it and will not get out of the car or walk. She’s large so it’s a struggle. This made it so easy for a vet tech and I to just carry her in without issue. As she gets older, I’m sure this will help with getting around as well. Seems very durable.
