Had an unusual start with these lights, but in the end I am very pleased, both with the product and with Ollny customer service:To begin, I had been wanting to replace our old incandescent icicle lights with LED lights for years. I finally ended up choosing the Ollny lights due to favorable reviews, appropriate length, price & advertised functions.Upon delivery, lights looked good. I skimmed instructions and ...before hanging... plugged lights into power and tested "on the ground." NIce! Everything looked good and with pleasant effects, including slowly changing colors and other features. I unplugged, got out my ladder, and proceeded to hang, connecting two strings.After plugging into power again, lights looked great initially. As soon as I pressed the controller button to change effects however, entire string went dark. Bummer. Despite all efforts, additional button pushes, battery replacement on remote control, etc., lights remained dark. Suspecting a defective product, I emailed Ollny customer service using the contact info within packaging. To my surprise, overnight I got a prompt and courteous reply from their representative Lucy, who politely apologized for any inconvenience and asked a few more details regarding order number, nature of issue, etc..Over the next couple of nights (likely due to time zone differences), we exchanged several emails; each polite and with the assurance they would do their best to remedy asap. Ultimately, I removed the lights and prepared to send back for a full refund. At the last minute, I decided to test once again. Surprisingly, lights appeared to work fine when NOT connected together. Confused, I looked at the instructions again and discovered I had made an error in connecting the two strings. As stated in instructions, I should have removed the second control box before connecting strings. As soon as I did so, everything worked properly and exactly as expected. See photos.I contacted Ollny via email once again to let them know the mistake was all mine and NOT the result of a defect or poor quality. They thanked me for letting them know, and also for my business too. Very nice.I wanted to share this experience with others, and to express my satisfaction. We will see how many seasons these lights last, but for now I am very impressed with both the product and the high-level of customer service I received. The media could not be loaded. These worked awesome right out of the box. If you're looking for color and warm white lights that are different than what ANYONE in your neighborhood has and exceed expectations... order these. I got a beautiful new front porch on my house and I wanted something to make it stand out. I researched the bjesus out of EVERYTHING from Curtain lights to firecracker lights to these and lemme tell you... these are legit EXACTLY what I was looking for. No lie. Had I known they were so freaking amazing, I would have ordered WAY MORE BECAUSE I'M OBSESSED. I'm not a paid reviewer, nope... and I cannot speak for longevity, but I've had these bad boys a month and they're still lighting after our first snowstorm in ne pennsylvania. Not only that, they're so light, easy to hang, they work plugged into my timer, not the one that is inside of the lights...and THEY REMEMBER THE FUNCTION YOU LEFT THEM ON. IT'S A DAMN CHRISTMAS miracle, because though all the others say they have memory function, for some UNKNOWN REASON, THEY DON'T WHEN UTILIZING A timer like every other human being, the timer that ISN'T the one included in the lights. This is amazing to me because i work 2p to 10p and I needed my house not to be a flashing freaking mess. Flashing is fine, it's a mode, just not for me. I'm thrilled with this purchase and if they're still around next year, I intend on buying enough for my entire house. Also, they match all my other warm white lights I have. THANK YOU SELLER!!!!!!

We easily hung two strands together along the eaves of the house. The strand unraveled smoothly as long as I helped the icicle parts drop naturally as I unraveled the main part of the strand.Neighbors immediately came up to us as soon as the lights were on. I got texts through the evening from different neighbors on how magical and beautiful our lights are.But I warn you: the hardest part of these lights is deciding which color we want for the evening! (Right now it’s in the pastel color, my favorite.)Update:On the 5th day one of the sets has a wide section that is not working. I am awaiting for a reply from [email protected] but am not sure if this is the correct email address for their customer service. The portions that are lit and working are beautiful and I hope to get a fix it suggestion by Christmas Day!Update:The seller responded within 24 hours with the suggestion of holding down the controller for 6 seconds but it didn’t help fix the unlit portions. Fortunately I will receive the replacement strand on Christmas Eve and the decorations will once again delight the neighborhood. The twinkly color changing lights are really so magical.Update 1.5.22Though the seller promptly sent me replacements for the original strand that wasn’t working, we are keeping the original strand because it’s now working perfectly, each icicle is lit and is beautifully bright. I don’t know how or why the strand of lights started working perfectly but perhaps the heavy snowfall we had woke it up?We are returning the replacements unopened, and so much appreciate the seller’s wanting to make it right. It’s a happy new year.
