This camera is smaller than I expected, which is a big plus as it's very lightweight and easy to work with. It has a decent build quality for the price range, comes with two batteries (great to have a spare battery), and a remote which is pretty handy in shooting youtube videos without any assistance. 4K video quality is great and the camera is packed with tons of useful features (Image Stabilization, IR Night Vision, Video Shooting & Data Transfer via Mobile app). The external microphone works really well and eliminates background noise. Overall, I'm really pleased with this buy.

Is an entry level full frame recorder that goes well beyond the basics in features, with excellent image quality, and 4K video capture. Great for my fly by on the motorcycle. Not including the free items as seen in the pictures. Battery life is wonderful as well!

At 4K60fps, I expected the video to be crisp and clean. It is super grainy. There is no way that this camera is actually 4K if the video is that grainy. Testing at 1080P at 120fps and it is just as grainy. I do not recommend this camera for anyone that is attempting to VLOG in any type of professional looking setting.

Everything was nicely packaged and delivery was quick (the next day). Not pleased with the battery charger, the battery (two come with the camera) does not lock firmly into the charger. I used a small clamp to maintain a good connection. The video looks grainy under fair lighting conditions. I took a practice video indoors with an overhead light on, in daylight conditions. The focal point in the manual state a couple of feet. Will try it over the holidays and provide more feedback.

My Wife and I purchased this video camera for my son as a Christmas present. He likes creating videos for his YouTube channel and I figured this would be a great starter camera for him. Well shame on me! This camera is awful, and that's an understatement. There is no way this is 4k, I don't even think it's HD. All of our videos even after setting up lighting , I'm talking high end drop lights, the output is still dark. Does not matter what we do the end video looks like it was shot at midnight under cloudy skies.Unfortunately, I purchased this early December and by the time we realized what a colossal waste of money it was, the refund period ram out. Please do yourself a favor and spend a little extra monet for a real video 4K camera. Because this ain't it. Don't waste your money!

Some may call me cynical, but this camera isn't quite what I would want to buy. Anyone looking to buy this would be much better off saving for a Canon or another reputable brand. As with Amazon, the specs of this camera look great, but upon first impressions the image quality is relatively bad on any setting. To elaborate, there are many artifacts in the footage and a very high level of grainy-ness. If you are someone looking to create YouTube content as I am, I would highly recommend saving or just using your phone, as a phone camera far outperforms this camera. I'm not disappointed, I thought I knew what I was getting, but I am nonetheless underwhelmed. Save your money, unless you are looking for a gift for a younger person who just likes cameras, then this would be great.

I should have just saved my time and passed on this one. Sound did not work at all. Tried the mic that came with it and 2 if my own and none of them worked. The mic function was turned on in the menu. Video was by far NOT 4K. I've never seen such grainy video in 4K. App for WiFi was trash. Crashed everytime. Even tried the version 2 of the app and it was no better. All in all... save your money and buy an expensive brand name camera. You get what you pay for.

Just gave this to my teenager who is really getting into film and photography. He loves it! Easy to use and lightweight. The box came a little crunched on the corner but everything was fine inside!
