I bought these to hold butter when I use the rest of my Spode Christmas Tree china for Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's on the dinner table. They are easier to pass person to person and look ever so much prettier than most butter dispensers. The only drawback is that they are made in China, not England. ALL of my Spode is made in England and samped "made in England." I would have passed on these but for them being so cute.

I have a large collection of Spode and really like it all. It all matches no matter if it is the old stuff from England or newer from China. This piece was exactly what I needed for double recipe for green bean casserole.

I was so excited to find this covered casserole at a reasonable enough price that i could afford to buy two. However, when they arrived, one had a chip in the lid and the second had a badly-repaired chip in the lid (see pix). I was going to exchange them but that option was not offered -- only a refund -- so I will keep them despite the damage.Interesting that the product registration card had a "Portmeiron" return address -- nothing is well made any more.

Not wrapped well enough. There wasn't a single mark on the box, but it was SHATTERED! I'm so disappointed, no, I'm heartbroken. I really wanted this Spode Christmas dish. I have photos but don't know how to upload. I'd give NO stars if i could, unless this dish is replaced, wrapped more carefully, and makes it to me safely.Teresa Cook (Mrs. Steve Cook)

As a collector of Spode Christmas Tree China for many years, I was happy to see this offered on Amazon. In recent years Spode has come out with new serving dishes and trays . The quality is just as good as the original China and dishwasher safe. I plan to purchase more for gifts next Christmas.

I ordered this too late for this past Christmas season, but I can't wait to put it to use this year! This addition to my Christmas Tree Spode collecion is large enough to accommodate any recipe I would want use it for. The shape is just so pleasing to the eye and easy to maneuver that I look forward to using it for many years to come. The price was right, too, which is always a bonus, especially around the holidays.

Smaller than expected but still, a lovely piece.

Nice size for main course item. Plan on using it for years to come.

This is the most useful and beautiful Christmas serving dish I have ever seen! I was so impressed with it, I bought two more (one has yet to be delivered; thanks to the strike). You would not be disappointed.

These are the most perfect little ramekins for Christmas. I make individual desserts for Christmas dinner, and these are wonderful. Worth the money.
