Husband will freak!
My husband is going to freak out when our girls give him this for Father’s Day! He loves anything to do with John Wayne. I was in the middle of getting a tattoo and him in my artist talked the whole few hours. I was getting worked on about John Wayne. She happened to mention that she had this board game and I had never heard of it, so I came to Amazon and now it is hiding in my closet

Fun, but disappointing
When I saw this game, I thought: "John Wayne!! Cool!", and I didn't look any further at the pictures. I had thought this game would have John Wayne movies or perhaps characters as the properties, but the properties are all props used in his various movies, such as the boots and hats he wore in certain movies are Boardwalk and Park Place. This was sort of interesting, but not as cool as movies or characters would have been. The "trains" are called "Wayne's Words" and have things he said on the cards. Once again, kind of fun, but having trains that were in some of his movies instead would have been much cooler. The Community Chest cards are called Director's Notes, the Chance cards are called Auction Block. The text on these cards is similar to what is written on the cards in the regular game just with a film twist, but they could have been better. The houses are barrels and they tend to fall over and roll all over the board. The $5, $20, $50, and $100 dollar bills are rather similar in shade. When they are right next to each other, there is a difference, but on their own, it is difficult to know the denomination without looking closely at the bill. The game is still fun to play, but being a themed game, and being John Wayne, the creators could have done a much better job, which is why I gave it only three stars.

Just like monopoly
I was disappointed when I opened up the game to play with my granddaughter and she picked the horse and it wouldn’t stand up. When I checked it out the legs were broken. I know it is only a small metal thing but still.
