Sorry, it's junk. It doesn't connect. It connected once to one pair, but would not connect to a second pair. I've tried it with six or seven pairs of bluetooth headphones and earbuds, all of which implement the A2DP protocol. Only once did I manage to get it to connect to two pairs. But, once you turn one off, it will not reconnect unless you turn the thing off, unplug it, and apparently it has a small internal battery, which has to discharge. That is, the very same pair that was just paired and turned off.I have not yet been able to connect it to two pairs simultaneously, even ones it previously paired with. The programming is simply not functional.Incidentally, it also makes a high-pitch squealing sound when it's on. I have to return it; it simply isn't functional with the most basic use cases. Non-starter.

Good buy after my husband figured it out. Just plug into audio output behind you tv then scan bluetooth it to your device (phone or tablet) then scan your bluetooth headphone to the same device then make sure it on tx.. here's the tricky part after both items shows on your device (phone or tablet).. turn the Bluetooth off of the device .. then the transmitter should work.. hope this help.. it worked for us..

All the switches are working, it paired with both transmitting and receiving. I gave the device 3 stars due to a weak receiver. It would break up frequently. I bought it primarily as a transmitter, so worth keeping and have not had a range problem as with the receiver.

Not enough range - maybe 15'. Whenever you want to setup the receiver bluetooth, you have to disconnect the power, then flip the device over and cycle power before it become discoverable. Have not tried the transmit mode yet.

It works well with our un-smart TV.
