Easy to install, look effective when up. Ginger of a lot of light!

£35 felt like a lot to spend on tree lights, but having finally invested in a decent tree, I figured it would be worth a try and you'll see that my older basic set of lights (1st image) just weren't up to the task!The tree shown is 6ft, and while the 740 LED set would do if you like to keep the lights closer to the stem of the tree, I wanted a more generous coverage. I was able to easily cover both inside and outside of the branches.The lights are very bright, but not garishly so and they have a very warm and pretty feel to them. The colours are vibrant and there's a lovely soft reflection off the carpet and curtains. I usually have a lamp lit at that side of the room in the evening, but don't actually need it with the tree lights on.I like how close together the bulbs are in the clusters, and I guess that's a factor to consider, as some may prefer more spacing. I think it provides a flow to the pattern of them (even with my random placement).I'm only likely to use the static setting, but have tried and tested the flashing, fading, colour changing and tempo options and the range and performance is quite impressive.I think some people have expressed disappointment at the 8 hour timer. It wasn't a requirement for me either, but in all honesty, having to flick a switch once every 8 hours for what is essentially a sensible safety feature certainly shouldn't put you off.Something that I really think the set deserves a high rating for is the ease of use when unpacking the lights and dressing the tree. They unroll easily because the plastic feels like a thick web and the lights are so small, they don't really get caught up with each other. It makes moving them realtively easy when they're on the tree as well. For that reason alone, I'll be hard pushed to ever go back to the traditional style. They're so much quicker to work with.I think it's useful to include the price paid when leaving a review, so people can compare the value if the price has changed, but I actually had to go back and check what I'd paid. I'm so happy with them that I didn't give it a thought.

These lights are well-made and are extremely bright, much brighter than other lights I have purchased. The lights come packaged in a neat little cardboard box and when unpackaged they are tidily bundled up which makes for easy installation. The lights themselves are closely packed which makes for an impressively bright display, and there is a long section of wire without any lights on between the plug and the first lights allowing the user to plug the lights in and have enough length to reach the area in which the lights are to be used. This is a feature that some other similar lights do not have, and this was crucial in the situation where I was using them. Finally, the lights have a very clever 'timer' feature which means that in a 24 hour period, they will switch on for 8 hours solid after which they will turn off for 16 hours until they then turn back on. This is super helpful as it means that you can use the lights when it is dark only and not waste energy in early hours of the morning and at night. For example, we have the lights set so that they are on from 4.00pm until midnight, and then they are off until the following 4.00pm. This works well for us. Overall, a very cleverly designed products with lots of added features that I did not expect when purchasing a product at this price point! 10/10 would recommend and purchase again!

Very beautiful, timer works great, very bright and all just wish it was more clustered or more lights as looks like two lines rather than a packed clustered lights.

I was after some new lights for my tree so was pleased when I came across these. They arrived in quite a small box, which at first worried me as I thought they'd be smaller than I though. I was surprised when I opened the box to see that I wasn't disappointed. These are long enough to decorate my tree twice, which I'm more than happy with as I love a well lit tree. I thought these were just standard static lights (my fault for not reading it properly!), so was even happier to realise that there's a switch to change the setting from static, to complete flashing, two colours that fade out then into two other colours. I can't wait to put them on my tree this year.Another thing that I noticed, and it's something I always check, is that they don;t get hot. My old lights used to get so hot you couldn't touch them. With these, I left them switched on for half and hour and there was not heat from them.I was impressed with the long cable, so am thinking of purchasing another set to go round the outside of my house.I would highly recommend these lights as they are of a very high standard and quality.

The media could not be loaded. The 12m length of these lights was just enough to cover the front of our house and I'm very impressed with the quality of these lights and how good they look. They feel well made and robust and give off an amazing light which makes the cluster appear to be much thicker than it actually is.The warm white and cool white compliment each other well and look beautiful, as you can see from the video. I have the setting on random patterm but there's 8 patterns to choose from, including static, chasing etc. There's also a timer function but I haven't used this as I control them with a smart plug and set the on and off times using this.We used these lights from mid-November until beginning of Jan and are very pleased indeed and looking forward to next Christmas to put them up again!
