Beautiful piece!
So I’ve actually tried something a bit different and cut these down with my 60w fiber laser, and made “worry stones” that turned out amazing! - Stones I’ve seen have been a touch thicker, but this is a gorgeous piece of steel and I was super pleased! - Not a hint of inclusions or any flaws that’s I’ve seen and it engraves and grinds down well! (I beveled the edges)- 11/10

Solid steel bar with horizontal grain good for making your own knife
This steel bar comes well-oiled and ready to use on your next project, to make a knife or other blade or decorative item. Normally Damascus steel is made with machines, so it's not really clear how much this is handmade, as the description says. But it is clearly high quality and made with care to be interesting-looking and durable, and capable of being sharpened to a very fine point and holding that edge.

Thickness just right for starter project knives
Nicely patterned material and enough to make 2 to 3 nicely-sized EDC fixed-blade knives. I will get my son to create a blank from a lawn mower blade then shape and grind it on a square belt grinder to learn how to shape steel. I'm then going to give him some of this Damascus stock and work along with him in making his own first knife, at least from stock material.

What a great size of blank to start a project with. It has a really nice pattern and was true to the descriptions labeled dimensions. It came packaged in oil and wrapped up nice. Not a bit of rust. I can’t wait to see what I can squeeze out of it.
