Like the other reviewer I seemed to have ordered the wrong part. I will admit I went by picture not knowing the difference between a male and female G1/4 BSPP. I ordered this to fit into a G 1/4 Female res and pump or a block. Unfortunately, this was not the case has it has the wrong end. Just giving context has the previous review seems to have done the same thing and gave it one star. If you want to use one of these things on a block or pump or whatever typically you will need a G 1/4 MALE end.(lesson learned) I guess one thing that can be done with this particular disconnect is you can hook your compression fittings at the end of this instead of buying the ones with fittings already built in. Advantage might be if you ever change your tubing size you don't need a new disconnect. Either way this really isn't Koolance's fault the quality looks good and if used has intended I am sure this is a good product. I ordered the correct ones for my build and if I have any issues I will update this review accordingly.

Good luck finding the right size. The sizing chart is terrible.
