Pros: Adjustable temp control is nice - lots of heating options. All the supplies you need are in one box. Virtually pain-free hair removal with smooth results. IF you have lots of experience and REALLY know what you are doing - this is a good kit.Cons: Major learning curve here. The first time I used this, I made a huge mess of my bathroom and got wax everywhere. This wax IS NOT EASY TO REMOVE from surfaces OR your skin. Thankfully the kit included a wax remover lotion but you need a lot of it to get all the wax off things and the lotion itself leaves a greasy residue behind. The second time I was smart enough to lay newspaper under the unit to catch drips and wore gloves to protect my hands. That worked much better but it was still a major mess and the waxing process itself was very time consuming. I also don't feel like the wax spreads very easily or evenly and I ended up getting really frustrated with the whole ordeal.Overall opinion: If you are inexperienced or have trouble reaching any areas you're waxing I really don't recommend attempting it. It's way more trouble and mess than it's worth. The amount of money I'd save doing it at home isn't worth it for how time and labor extensive it is. I'm going back to the salon and letting a professional do it for me.

All of the bottles arrived previously opened with the original contents (waxes and oils) discarded and replaced with MAUVE COLORED PAINT!!! Look at the photo. It was clear when the package arrived it had been previously opened as it did not arrive sealed. Do not purchase this product.

The kit is awesome, but the wax is horrible. My cosmetologist recommenced the kit for me because they have been shut down due to Covid-19 and, though they are doing hair again, not waxing still (completely understandable - 100% support). I texted after the first wax and told her it never hardened up and left a lot of hairs. She suggested I warm it longer; the second time, I let it warm in high for an hour then kicked it down to low/medium to ensure I didn’t burn my skin. It was definitely warm enough; same consistency as what she uses on me. Still had the same issue; I’m going to contact her to see if she can get me a jar of what she uses that will fit in it.

The warmer and wax are awesome. The pre hon cream and wax off are also good. BUY THEM SEPARATELY! The post wax cooling gel has menthol in it, you can imagine on freshly waxed skin that’s about as cooling as a bonfire. The post Epilation lotion and Slow Grow hair minimized both have alcohol, again not great on open pours. And the muslin strips are woven so the wax seeps through and sticks to your fingers. So buy the other stuff and save your money on this junk.

I really like the wax kit and all that comes with it, except for the pink wax.The warmer is great because it heats the wax but does not burn you when you touch the warmer. The mini bottles are great as well! I like to sample all these items to see what works or doesn't work for me. The wax off is great! But you can get the same result with baby oil. Nice to try out the sample though.The only bad thing in that kit was the wax! It doesn't work very well....I had to switch to a hard wax that I had at my house (thank god) instead of using this wax. Gigi has a good honey wax to use instead of this pink creme wax.
