2 Free windscreens included: 1 clear and 1 tinted. It truly is the king of the road. With FL forks, full fenders, chrome headlight, air-adjustable suspension and a lot more, the Harley-Davidson Road King begs you to ride it for the long haul. It’s as though you simply cannot take it too far. A Vector Batwing Fairing adds to the perception that on the road ahead there’s no end in sight. With solid, hand laid fiberglass construction, customized design, a smooth gelcoat finish and places for your critical stereo and electronic components, the promise of ultimate comfort and confidence reach maximum levels. When you’re riding long distance on a Road King, you simply don’t need a cold wind in your face. You don’t need to be buffeted by debris. You do, however, need to enjoy maximum comfort and convenience. You also need to know the components you’ve added to your machine deserve to be there. Just like you do. The Harley-Davidson Road King may be the ultimate in long distance touring, but a new Vector Batwing Fairing can take it to a higher level. These fairings are designed to fit 1994-2015 Harley-Davidson Road King and FLHTC Electra Glide Classic but there are many different models, factory upgrades, and custom aftermarket parts so some modification may be necessary. Each fairing comes with one clear and one tinted windshield at no additional cost. Vector Batwing Fairings is dedicated to delivering premium hand-laid fiberglass at a cost you would expect to pay for ABS plastic. This model comes precut with holes to accommodate 2 – 6 inch by 9 inch speakers as well as a place to install an audio system. However, as there are many different stereo options to choose from, some additional modifications may be necessary. No sound system is included.

Good value.
For the price you can not beat this fairing, fit and finish is good and it is finished enough that if you do not want to paint it and leave it black, it polishes up nicely. Over all , i am very happy with my purchase, the price is hard to beat.Update... rode all year with this fairing and a cranking sound system, blocks air flow so much better than a windshield and looks great too, the tunes are awesome, I highly recommend.

Nice Finish
This is going to be a multiple post review only because for anyone looking for a less expensive alternative to a true OEM part this may be an option. Shipping was quick- believe that item was on doorstep within a week. Outside box had a gash in it which was a little alarming. Took many pictures of container before opening but was pleasantly surprised to see that fairing was well packed and protected- no damage. The fairing itself is nice. It is extremely light- you can fling it around with one hand no problem. Probably weighs less than a couple pounds but I'm not that curious to actually find out. The construction appears to be solid but further testing with actual riding will let me know whether that is true or not. Finish is as promised on the outer shell- vivid black with a nice mirror finish. I'm planning on having it painted along with my tank for next winter project so that wasn't a huge concern but it is a nice finish if you just leave it alone. It did match up nicely with the black on my FLHP saddlebags so can't complain. After unpacking the item and separating out all of the hardware, took the front and back apart. The screws holding the wind screen have removable nuts while the other bolts have nuts/threaded ways that are an integral part of the fairing itself. Began as instructions stated with putting the mounting arms on the fairing. After several attempts as lining the arms up by eye, found the best way was to get the bolts about 90% tight then laid the arms down on a flat surface to ensure that the arms were perfectly perpendicular to one another. Once that was ensured I tightened the bolts fully. After removing the windshield from my Road King (I have an FLHP which required more mods as explained later) I attempted to fit the new mounting arms onto the original mounting washers that the OEM windshield used. No way did these new arms fit. The mounting arm slots are slightly smaller than the OEM slots- not by much, maybe a 1/16" to 1/8", but it's enough to prevent the new arms from fitting over the original spacers on the bike. Off to the local hardware store where I have had luck purchasing chrome bolts, washers previously. I purchased rubber/fiber washers as well as chrome washers. The size I chose was 1 1/2" in diameter. This provided me with enough surface area where fit was not a concern. Fiber-chrome-fiber on the inside on each mounting bolt, the fitted the arms onto the bolts. As an added precaution to prevent noise, I placed some heat shrink over the bolts where the arms meet the bolts. Probably not necessary but I hate rattles so why take the chance when this was available. I then finished on the outside with fiber-chrome-fiber again but I cut down the outside fiber washer to fit the size of the OEM acorn nuts. Once tightened they provided an extremely tight fit and the fairing is not going anywhere. The small bracket/holder that holds the clutch cable to the fairing bolt was a pain because it was so tight to get the acorn nut started but once on it was no problem and tightened well (resolved this by cutting off one half of the two prong holder to make it a one prong holder with a small ty-wrap to hold it in - made the tightening much easier).Stereo parts arrived. Kicker speakers are rather large. They are waterproof speakers, don't know if that made a difference, but these speakers did NOT, by a fairly large margin, fit into the fairing base without some fabricating. Grabbed my Roto-Zip with the proper cutter bit and started in. Didn't want to overcut the size so the process was slow and tedious to ensure that the speakers would fit but still leave enough meat for the mounting bolts. Finally finished and mounted the speakers- tight and fine.Next was the tuner itself. Since this is not a refit project, there is no mounting bracket in the fairing to reuse with a new tuner. Creative engineering is the only way to describe how I mounted the tuner and after mounting used Flex-Seal (yes, it works) to fill in the cracks and to waterproof the entrance area into the fairing. The fairing was finished for wiring and so it was time to put it back together. The outer trim is tricky to get on but after a few tries and some wriggling around the four bolts were snugged up and fairing is done. Put the fairing windscreen in, tightened up and it was done. This is not a supreme fitting fairing. There are spaces at the corners no matter how much wriggling, adjusting or cajoling you do. Plan on getting some black caulk and filling in the cracks so that bugs/spiders don't find their way into that area and find a home. This is a decent option from a much more expensive OEM fairing. IF you even manage to find a used one for sale it's expensive. And a OEM straight from factory is way more expensive. This was a decent option for way less money. Although it required a lot of extra customizing for speaker fit, tuner mounting, etc., it was still, IMO, worth the effort. This will remain a 4start rating until I've gone riding for a full season. If this breaks down in any way or fails to hold up over the miles then I'll definitely come back here and redo this review.I'll put some photos up in time to show what the finished product looks like.

I had to trim the openings for the radio and 6x9 speakers. After radio and speakers were put in the outer shell did not want to line up with the screw holes. Other than that no problems
