If you use an iPad with ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, or any navigation software or device with terrain or traffic notifications, you need the CRAZEDpilot BLUETOOTH Headset Interface. Our Bluetooth interface allows you to WIRELESSLY hear "TERRAIN" warnings or "TRAFFIC" notices, right in your headset - without the risk or inconvenience of wires. This solves a critical safety issue - tablets and phones in the cockpit are exceedingly useful in providing safety information, but AUDIBLE WARNINGS must be heard by the pilot immediately. Cables wrapped around your controls to a yoke-mounted device or across your throttle quadrant are dangerous. Instead, utilize the CRAZEDpilot Bluetooth Interface to wirelessly connect audio direct to the pilot headset. Compatible with Foreflight, Garmin Pilot, and any other audio-capable software on your Bluetooth-enabled device including stereo quality music for personal entertainment during flight. Garmin Pilot users will experience audible traffic and terrain warnings when paired with an ADSB-In and/or GPS source. Foreflight provides their customers with runway area alerts, pressure altitude alerts, and traffic warnings when paired with an ADSB-In source and ADSB-Out equipped aircraft. Please contact your preferred software vendor for more specific details on the prerequisites, alerts, and tones available with your chosen product. Internal battery runs 4-6 hours between charges Easily charge (even during operation) via USB cigarette lighter adapter Pairs easily to any Bluetooth capable device Use your favorite GPS or Navigation software - no software limitations. Installation is easy; simply pair the CRAZEDpilot BLUETOOTH Headset Interface to your Bluetooth device, then connect between the aircraft and your headset - this will route all regular audio to the pilot headset IN ADDITION to all audio output from your iPad or Bluetooth device using Bluetooth wireless technology. Make safety a priority and get the CRAZEDpilot Bluetooth Interface today.

Double check your devices Bluetooth volume. That fixed my volume issue.
Ok. So I was concerned about the volume level after I read other reviews. I ordered anyway just to try it. I received it yesterday.I am pairing it with a Samsung Tab S6 Lite running Naviator. When I first tried it, the volume was indeed too low. Later I thought maybe my tablet volume was too low. I checked and it was maxed out. Then I remembered that the volume is different when you pair a Bluetooth. I reconnected and checked volume and it was less than half. I turned it up and it seemed to be plenty loud.

Nice solution for adding Bluetooth to my iPad
When I first tried this, it had a high pitched buzzing sound in my headset but when I plugged it into my external battery source, the noise was almost gone, then after plugging it into the aircraft, the noise disappeared altogether, even with the engine off. No engine noise after startup. The sound its very clear. I expected some noise with it not plugged into the aircraft. No degradation in sound from the aircraft radio either.I use this for traffic, low altitude alerts and other audio alerts from Foreflight on my iPad.Nice solution for adding Bluetooth to my iPad!!

Works as advertised. As mentioned in another review, wish the USB connector was the more popular one used today so I could carry one less cord. Battery life is around 3 hours.

Thumbs Up
Works awesome. Can listen to music or foreflight through the headset (DC) without spending a grand on the headset

Too quiet
So quiet that it's almost not worth using it. With the iPad turned up all the way I can barely hear any sound. Very dissapointed.
