A little beast
Fun toy. I bought it for my son, but I enjoy it just as much. We take out to the park and it handles all terrain. Really fast and capable

Excellent price
I expected this to be cheesy . It had decent speed and the range from the controller is great. Will be buying another soon….

DO NOT BUY! Terrible customer service. Burn your $ instead with same end result! TERRIBLE COMPANY!
** Double Update ** Purchased for Christmas, now August and STILL NO HELP FROM THIS COMPANY! Truck broke within 2 weeks and they refuse to help, saying anyone can swap out parts. My husband is an engineer and says it is the wrong part. They refuse to listen. I wasted $100.** Update** Don’t waste your $ on the protection package! After an ordeal for them to figure out what part was broken, they send a replacement with NO instructions on how to swap it out. It seems to be the wrong part for this vehicle. There is ZERO customer support. Between the truck and protection package, I may as well have flushed the cash down the drain!I got this for my grandson for Christmas. He absolutely loves it, but the suspension broke within 2 weeks of only using it indoors. Thank goodness I got the protection package!

Decent entry RC truck
Scroll to "Aggravating" if your truck suddenly stopped going forward/back.I picked up a different colored one second-hand. These are all cranked out from the same components in China with different "brands" on the box and different retail vendors selling them. That's how virtually all lower priced remote control stuff is. Except Traxxas which assembles their stuff in Taiwan. The good: the suspension arms and axles appear to be reinforced nylon. There's a metal center driveshaft. The body is polycarbonate. The rest of the plastic on the chassis isn't too soft or too firm. The wires to the front LED's won't get chopped by the body on a nose first lamding. So this will put up with some abuse. Maybe 2-3 foot high jumps landing on grass. This will not survive repeated full speed slams into a curb like a $600 hobby shop RC truck. But considering the package price is as much as a single battery for that $600 truck, it's fine for what it is. Lastly, the included USB charger is a balance charger that puts out 1 amp, or a 1C charge rate. That's good for battery life. The not so great: the shocks aren't oil filled. This would help with damping over uneven pavement. The tires are also too stiff for dirt and lack traction on pavement due to the tread pattern and shape of the tire. But, to be fair, this is an inexpensive truck meant for older kids and folks inexperienced in RC vehicles. Just don't expect to see it ripping drifts like a more expensive truck. The kind of bad: power delivery is like a rubber band. Punch the throttle and wait. Then it gets up to speed. This is likely due to the lithium ion battery. Those generally don't have as much capacity to discharge quickly as a lithium polymer battery. A li-ion is safer to use, so I get why. Just coming from lithium polymer batteries, it's a letdown. A first time RC truck user probably won't notice. The aggravating: the throttle trim on the controller can be turned completely off when turned completely to the left. To make the truck go, turn the trim knob back right and check for wheel movement. And it only controls how sensitive the throttle is. It doesn't control top speed, unlike more expensive RC radios. This also lacks a proper brake. Instead it turns the wheels backwards. Not good for longevity. But a brushed 390 motor is cheap and this has plenty of room to solder. If it doesn't end up broken or on a shelf first. I didn't see a lot of spares on here. They're probably available direct from China, but that'll take some effort and patience. In summary: a fine beginner RC truck that's durable enough for the price and includes everything to run out of the box. It's also user friendly for first-time RC truck owners and doesn't have the safety concerns of li-po batteries. I'd get this for a kid before plonking down $300 at a hobby shop for a Stampede or the equivalent Arrma truck, charger and li-po batteries.

Very fast and fun for the money, BUT not very sturdy at all...
Very fast and very fun rc truck, BUT, not very sturdy, the rear upper a-arm plastic suspension part broke within just a few minutes use (maybe it was defective to begin with, don't know)... Geez, I was expecting to least wear the battery down a bit before it broke...So I thought, that's a bummer, but I can just buy a new part, replace the old one, and I'll be back in a day or two. NOPE! The rear suspension kit for this rc truck is no longer available (at least that I could find)... So I tried to crazy glue the old part back together, and that worked for a few more minutes, then it just broke in the same spot again...If you decide to buy this rc truck (or any rc car/truck that you can't find replacement parts for), just make sure that you use it on a flat SMOOTH surface (no uneven gravel, no ruts, no bumps, no dips), because the plastic suspension parts are just not that sturdy enough for the rest of the truck......My next rc car/truck will definitely be something that has parts available to rebuild it "when" (not "if") it breaks...
